Maybe part of Geralts's reveal trailer showed some of his story because it was in game at 60 FPS.

OXM played Geralt in SCVI before he was revealed last month.

Depends on what they meant by "go hands-on", which may very well just be talking about the interview. It's quite possible that the video we saw was the CDPR side of their interview, considering it has the same information. This is why colorful language for journalism is silly, they can't just come out and say "we played as Geralt in-game", because they probably didn't. Assuming they can't lie, they instead used a vague phrase that could be interpreted that way, but isn't actually what happened.

Hands-on means playing the game or early build. OXM did play the SCVI Geralt build.

Certain individuals around here think they are some kind of sleuth, able to glean insight into things they have literally no way of knowing based on the specific rhetoric used in non-connected contexts versus actually having any kind of ability to use logic and reasoning to come to a conclusion.

And they are literally always wrong.
 
Hmm, 'kay I'm feeling from what I am reading here is that Geralt will actually be playing a part in this storymode we are going to be getting. Not... really looking forward to that honestly if that is happening.

Tekken tried that with Akuma (that his name, right?) and didn't do the story any favors.

As long as Geralt doesn't do something too major I will be okay. 'Cause if he does, well... He better be customizable so that I can force him in a tutu than.

The reason Namco put Akuma in Tekken 7 was to give that game more attention because of SFV launch issues like not have an arcade mode & Akuma was in SFV at launch. Akuma is in T7's story was just a way to make him Top-Tier & play like he did in SFIV to attract Street Figher players like Tokido and Poongko.

Are you kidding, Akuma was fantastic especially the smack talk he had with Heihachi, none of his scenes sucked and I want him to return for Tekken 8. Harada and co did such a good job of Akuma that he fits into Tekken better than some of the main cast.
 
Honestly, as long as he's implemented in the story well, I wouldn't mind seeing Geralt in it. It could also mean we're getting character based stories again like Tales of Souls mode in SCIII, but that might be reaching a bit too high.
