I don't know if anybody noticed but SoulCalibur is the only fighting game I've seen that applies jiggle physics to some of the male characters too. Asty's boobs and biceps jiggle in SCIII and I think Voldo's ass also does it on SCII.

I always remembered it as generic K being i13.
Generic 2A in SC4 was i14 and got upgraded to i13 in SC5.

Yes, Raph's 6BB was i12 in SCV, but was i13 in others.

Lets hope it stays this way. Being able to actually punish i12 at his 6BB range really changed Raph around.

Has anyone wondered how Taki's bodysuit glowing runes/tattoos/kanji will show up if we create a CAS version of Taki in something.. say like full plate armor or a puffy dress?

I wish we could take screenshots like that. What I assume is Taki's CE finish pose looks good although I assumed it was the ninja hand signal thingy which is instead in her SC.

This should be possible thanks to modding on the PC version. A lot of games have camera controls modded in.

The Japanese language uses three scripts in its written form. Two of them, hiragana and katakana, are autochthonous to Japan. However, the third script, Kanji, is of Chinese origin. Kanji is used heavily in old writings and many of the symbols have the same meaning in Chinese and Japanese. That's the whole point of logographic writing systems.

Almost every SC girl's boob size has changed the entire series. Sophitia finally matches her damn artwork for once. Ivy's are the same size but Pushed up, obviously. Boobs don't look like hers without being pushed up, which you can even tell that in her artwork. Even Xianghua's boobs are bigger...

Wow you're really doubling down. The point was that his pal could translate those characters. He happened to describe him as "Chinese" which, while not necessarily relevant, didn't justify your critical mocking of him.

You were the one who insinuated the stupidity of asking a chinese person to translate supposed japanese characters. Don't be surprised when people call you out on that. No one is saying that the languages are identical, but you feel the need to point that out as if that would help save face.

The thing we should focus on is the validity of the translations, but you're stuck questioning whether pal's nationality will prevent him from translating said characters. Another poster kindly explained the similarities of the characters immediately below
