Most of the people here are obssessed Calibur fans, of course this guy wont be informative but, to Mr.Casual Joe, he does a service soooo Im not sure why super hardcore SC fans would hate him.

Considering he's making videos to inform people, he could at least do some very basic research. I had fun reading through that E3 document because it's such a hilariously bad attempt at making a forgery. I'm baffled anyone would take it seriously enough to make a video about it.

Just Setsuka and I'm good.

After the whole Alpha Patroklos thing, Setsuka doesn't deserve to be DLC.
 
He literally said in the video it's probably fake and not to be taken seriously or to get anyone's hopes up. He was just presenting something that came up online. Calling him an idiot for that is so juvenile and cringy jfc just don't acknowledge him if you really don't like him.
 
Seong Mi Na - Hwang, Cervantes - Maxi, New male char - Voldo, Astaroth - Rock, Setsuka - New female char, Lizardman - Raphael, Talim - Cassandra, Tira - Amy, Hilde - ZWEI. My next pairs for SC6 :)

You know, it's always your fault if you lose, doesn't matter how.
This is the worst justification, because ever noob does use this one. "It's a game mechanic it's fine" and no, it's not unique at all.
In my early days i hated RO, but with the time i accepted them.
It's fine if you love it, but in my opinion RO's are the worst case emergency panic button - or troll tactic.
I use them if the fight is boring, or need a fast safe win.
But in a good fight i try to avoid ROs, because i disagree in one thing with most players.
The feeling - it's the most unsatisfying win, you can have, no matter what situation.

Except that this person is almost certainly making money off of these videos. Making deliberately clickbaity videos to spread leaks and misinformation that are comically and obviously false is just kinda scummy. Those "leaks" don't deserve even the small amount of legitimacy that making videos about them affords.

If you think that video was made in good faith with the intention of bringing news to Soulcalibur fans... I'm sorry but you're incredibly naive. They're profiting off of turning a random 4chan post into clickbait. Nothing more.
 
Tira - Voldo would be a nice matching reveal, the crazy ones with weird outfits. Or Astaroth - Lizardman for monsters.

I don't know why, but right now if I'd wish something new for E3 is a new build more than reveals (which I think we'll have): I just would love to see the new characters and more stages than the 2 in the old demo!
 
If SCVI has a opening trailer as epic as Soul2s, I will literally be astounded as THAT trailer is my favorite opening in any videogame EVER (well...maybe a tie with Sonic Heroes....you know that shit was epic lol)

For E3 Im hoping to see a DAMN RELEASE DATE, a story trailer with a couple of yet revealed characters,
aaand...more new gameplay?...possibly Cass? and a Collectors edition of some sort announced.
 
SC4/ SC5's opening cinematics were very lacking.

Didn't help the player get into the atmosphere of Soul Calibur, but served more to start single player ?

SC4 had the first 1:15 with the big tower and Algol remembering his son getting corrupted, and then him sinking into the tower. Very few other characters show up as well. Not interesting at all, but serves to give the back story to the single-player lore.

I much prefer the trailer/montage style of SC2/3 and Soul Blade which features pretty much the entire cast.
 
SE, SC1 2 & 3 have the best intros.

More that intros imo Overwatch does an awesome job with its mini cg movies. As you can see the characters interact outside of the gameplay and you can get a better look on the characters personality. For SC6 a dope intro would already do it greatly, also something like few mini movies would be great too as well I think.

Blizzard does short movies super well. They heavy handedly use tropes and cliches, but they do it so damn well.

The World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King trailer is still one of my favorite pieces of CGI animation in the whole world, and it’s a decade old now.

I can’t expect Blizzard level quality, but it would be nice to see a trailer/release date at E3.
