The game will run at normal speed, but if you're playing online against someone who has 60FPS you'll be at a severe disadvantage in terms of the game's responsiveness. From what I heard, if your machine couldn't hash out 60fps, you got locked to 30, so there are obviously measures in place to facilitate less capable machines, but it's not how they want you playing the game.

GUYS I'M SO EXCITED BUT ALSO REALLY NERVOUS

This mode looks GREAT, but it lines up with that rumor from a while back that said CaS would let you make characters of various races (including lizardmen), which I didn't believe, but here it is BUT what has me nervous is that the rumor also said that poor Aeon would be a mere bonus character and that's really got me a little bit upset.

But boy howdy, this mode looks sick! The only other thing I'm worried about is potentially restricting equipment to specific races beyond the realm of reasonability. Like, it's reasonable that the lizardman race would have it's own small pool of equipment since that's it's a whole unique body type. But otherwise I'm seeing a lot of different races that look really similar outside of one or two things (human, human with rabbit ears, human with wings, human with elf ears, etc.). If these different races have desirable equipment pieces that can't be combined, I'll be annoyed.

Otherwise, I REALLY like what I'm seeing. Like, they've even got the ogre face from Broken Destiny, so it seems like they're using their CaS history to great effect.
 
That hulking monstrosity is going to walk onto the screen at the beginning of the fight and drop a "You think you can take me on!?" in a 15-year old anime boy voice. You just know it.
