Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Tekken Team: "We're making the ugliest fighting games boss ever aka Devil Kazumi"

Project Soul: "Hold my beer"
But their situation is exactly the same?
DevilKazumi also looks differently than her human form and you expect her to be an actual boss, but she is just a costume with 3 unique (and OP) moves and that's it (also doesn't even have a unique super). Actually DK's situation is slightly worse as she is not even playable (not even as an alt costume for Kazumi, without additional boss moves) unlike Inferno.

Also congratulations on a 1000 pages in this thread.

I do have to say it is pretty ironic people are mad he's not a mimic

when everyone hated that there were too many mimics in V

i get that the keywords there is "too many" but it's still pretty ironic.

It's just a dumb decision. Either don't make Inferno playable, make him a mimic or at least differentiate him from Nightmare. It's not that hard to comprehend, guys. It's hardly complaining, it's pointing out a very dumb decision. It's actually sad that some of you will defend the game no matter how dumb some decisions are. Let dumb decisions be dumb decisions if that's what they are, no matter if you love the rest of the game or not.
Please tell me why it's a dumb decision.
Considering the only three games recently released with a similar size were all created from scratch rather than porting decade(s) old assets, and two of them offer ways to get DLC characters for free, yes, it's pretty small all things considered.

It makes sense for Inferno to be a mimic because he's been one twice before.
I don't think you've considered all things there my friend.

I dont know if anyone mentioned it but does Soul charge downright cancel a CE? I had it happen a few times, the soul charge animation came in immediately after my CE beginning animation, felt broken and unfair.

It's a dumb decision because we don't need a clone without a personality and without a unique CE, especially when we have a roster that is missing important characters. While mimics are not necessarily wanted it would at least give Inferno a purpose of being on the roster, for those that liked mimic characters from previous games. I

Tira being DLC is actually a good thing because it takes away the chances of Dumbpierre and Algol.

Convinced the CaS DLC will be returning items. I really want a jacket for men, leggings/tights for women, the skirt open at the one side, and a circlet.

If this is the kind of discussion you guys are having for SC6 I am so happy I wasnt here when they were making SC5.This website must have been like hell back then
Oh, it was magnificent. The forum was exploding for a different reason every single month. People lost their mind every single time we had one of the replacement characters announced, and then the grand reveal when the game launched: 3 mimics and 2 versions of Patroklos and Pyrrha.

I'm getting more and more convinced Daishi was trying to deliberately sabotage the franchise. Maybe he was getting revenge for his boss stealing his lunch many years ago.

yeah i wonder how hard the meltdown was, everyone must have being panicking after seeing each reveal and each time less and less characters that made SC SC.
the only thing i remember back then is that i knew the game was coming in February and that Ezio was playable, and i only saw the Ezio reveal trailer that's it, i went on release date strait to the store and bought the game, and then at home i was like WTF why is Kilik a half edgmaster? where is Cassandra, Taki, Zas, Talim, Setsuka, Seong Mi-na, Yun-seong, X and why is Shopitia named Elysium ???
After getting bamboozled, i accepted what happened and just played the game for like 2 years, and at the end of year 2 i was like oke now we wait for SC6, two years passed since then and i was like "any day now SC6 must be just a round the corner" two years again and here we are just waiting till the stores release it.
its been too long...

Before the SC5 release, they would show just silhouettes of the character art and let us guess for a few days... I remember when the silhouette everyone hoped to be Taki turned out to be Natsu..
