It does say "Okubo has a message". It may not be anything very exciting like character reveals but it will be some kind of announcement.

The main things I care about in this game are the gameplay and the CaS, and you can't really spoil those since those are more "you have fun by doing it yourself" sorta things.I don't know how people can spoil the game for themselves by watching early release footage
I've not watched anything besides official reveals and a few clips from the larger events.
This way I have more surprises to look forward to.

i spoiled all the CaS parts we currently can see but even then I haven't really looked at them so it's not like i have any more or less idea of what i can make, like i care a bit about that story but i've only watched the main story ending, seen some stuff from kiliks story, first 20 minutes of libra, and watched the first 20 minutes of geralts story which isn't all that much and i think that's all that has really been spoiled. even for people that care about story there's still all of libra left, and the 20 other stories to go through, as long as someone doesn't dump the rest of chronicles mode spoilers really aren't a big thing to worry about

is it BS that Xhiangua beats Ivy? Or does the latter particularly not care since she seems determine to leave Nightmare's group? I mean, is that little girl prepared for the barrage of badassery that is Ivy?

Ivy probably knows Xia has SC and was likely just testing her. From what we’ve seen, the narrative structure requires playing the other characters’ stories (Maxi goes missing and reappears without so much a word) so Ivy’s loyalty to Nightmare was already waning.

Ivy is by far the character with worst track record in the series, she lost to basically everyone she fought, the two times she won

I wondered this too. But the "Okubo has a message" part of that tweet might have only been referring to that little video of him speaking in the same tweet. It could be interpreted either way.

A little fix - they were called MRX (Akuma, dunno why considering he was revealed MUCH before console release and is a base character), MRY (Geese) and MRZ (Noctis) in the files.

And her fight with Cervantes is essentially a rematch after she lost the first one.
I’d say Mi-Na’s track record is also pretty terrible lol.

By deliberately expecting nothing, you are in effect expecting something. And so when nothing happens, you may be disappointed when said nothing (lack of something) is not as surprising or reassuring as you had hoped. Best not to even think about it at all.

I've conciously decided not to get the game, while still getting it subconsciously, so that when I find it installed on my system it will be a wonderful surprise.

Also it should be noted that character-specific mechanics were seen in advance; datamining told us that MRY had a super meter like Akuma or Eliza.
