Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Can you change the music on menus like tekken 7, also any hidden or small things that's people can miss. Also to note the metacrtic got more good reviews 90s and 2 bad reviews from users with a 4 and 5 but no one would care about them with all these good reviews.
 
According to SteamSpy, SCVI has sold anywhere from 200k to 500k already.

I remember it taking forever for SCV to break 500k on both consoles combined, while this is just SCVI on PC and not counting the console sales yet. Does this give you hope?
 
After 15h i barely started single player, was too busy creating Talim style Lizardmen to try to make other players laugh in ranked.

200.000 - 500.000 is very decent on Steam, same than Shadow of the tomb raider and Assassin's Creed Odyssey. And 2x more than Dragon Quest 11.
You can x10 on consoles.

If Bamco managed to reach that number with a minimal game budget, they probably wonder now what they would have reached with a normal budget.

The fact of hearing this has made my day, week month and year, and probably next year. I hope we get Okubo-san on the game again. Project soul deserves to have a director who cares about the series.

I've already pulled an all-nighter lol. It's flawed, but my god they've done amazing with what they had.
 
Sectus, is there any high res art for Yoshimitsu/ Siegfried (like 4k x 7k) They never got released along when the characters got unveiled and announced
It's not on Namco's press site. I could check game assets, but I really doubt that's in any high resolution.

Who would've thought you could make a good-selling, well-received game by giving the fans what they actually want as opposed to taking everything away and saying "deal with it"?

They need to do something for reversal edges. Really, they are a dreadful practice, and they are too much strong at high levels.
 
For PC user, how can I save screenshot? Usually I use fraps, but it doesn't seem to work for this game.
You can also download a little program called Gyazo that lets you draw a box on screen, captures it and opens it up in a new tab on your browser, ready for pasting and sharing.
I use it all the time.
I searched the forum but didn't find any Good Game thread. Wouldn't it be nice to have one ? It's a very common thing to say yet it's the only message that is not listed in the online chat.
You can make one :P I think there was one for V so, could be worth dropping one in the Soulcalibur VI forums :)
 
Well, I spent some time trying to look for any leftover files for any DLC character among game assets. Either Namco did a good job removing any leftover files or they didn't start working on the DLC characters before the game was finished. They accidentally left in a file listing a bunch of development-only files, and even in that, I can't find any hints about any characters who are not in the final game.
 
I'll stay moderately hopeful for Amy. Feels like her comeback is due but there are just sooo many possible candidates.
 
With the sales looking good, think we'll get that Season 2 of DLC and maybe, just maybe, the series will be saved?

That or Bamco guys artificially makes it out to be a flop by holding the series to some embellished standards. I still remember them pumping all the budget and marketing resources into Tekken Tag 2, their golden goose money boy, only of meager budget SCV selling more than it.

It's kind of a gray area there because TTT2 made tons of money at the arcades in Japan and Korea, a market that SC doesn't cater to.
