My plan is to quit the game when I see me matched up with 2B or I'll pick Yoshimitsu and commit seppuku in all the rounds.

The only arguable thing about her is that she appeared before veterans.

It's a "bad" move for SC fans who don't have their main, but it's a really good move to boost the popularity of the game when other AAA titles are being released.

I personally don't like the fan service, the timing, and the "surprise-but-not-a-surprise" feeling, but her style seems interesting and promising :) and of course the bonus stage and BGM we're getting are welcome ^^

I can certainly understand that feeling, it must be souring to people who're very attached to the their mains indeed, but I imagine with enough fan demand we could see a second season honestly.

2B isn't a character I'd have picked but I'm not against her inclusion either - The more characters the merrier honestly. And she'll sell, which is the main thing.
 
I've already seen plenty of comments on different websites with people stating they will buy SC6 because of this inclusion. The game plays great, can't imagine that people won't try out the other characters, even if they buy it just for 2B. From that point, it's only a matter of time they get hooked on the series, because IT IS very appealing to anime fans, especially women with the inclusion of Groh, who is basically Todoroki from MHA (most popular anime atm worldwide) and Raiden from MGS mixed together. Both are very popular with female fans and 2B is as well. Some of my friends already declared that they will buy the game after 2B announcement, because they are very attached to the character. It's a very good move, even if she doesn't really fit as well as Geralt, still they get more people interested in the game.

Also the DLC seems super cheap for what we're getting. I mean Tira costs less than a burger king meal in my country, and if you divide season pass price by 5 (3 chars, 2 sets of parts) it turns out to be pretty much the same.
 
Actually @EbrietasSs, there is something I realized and wanted to share :
2B Comes with a stage and I would not be surprised if she is more expensive than Tira, making the season pass price more appealing!
Just dropping that here!

The only real bad move Namco did with SCVI is making Tira a complete character on the Base Game unplayable unless you pay $6 to have access to Tira as a playable character so her style & gear to be used in CaS. Namco did this to hype up the Season Pass.

2B being announced was a good move because Nier Automata is still popular(It saved Platnium Games from going under after M$ cancelled Scalebond). When 2B is released sales will pick up. That is the power of a guest character in games. It draws in new fans to a series that they didn't have interest in before. Starlink for Switch sold more than the other versions because Fox was in the game and Nintendo fans want a good Star Fox game because Star Fox Zero failed and won't be another Wii U port for Nintendo Switch.

Hmm the game isn't doing that good after all it seems, it started good I guess, but there seem to have been a LOT of Steam refunds... :/
