Traffic on a work-connected Twitter account = leveraging social media = modern marketing strategy.
I doubt Okubo is losing sleep over character nagging. Not that it excuses people being jerks about it, though.
 
The first thing that popped into my head when I saw 2B's art work is "What the fuck is wrong with her spine?"

lmao anyways, very pleased to hear about this announcement and she looks like a blast to play as. Real glad I got the SP.
Though, of course, never too pleased to see Kainé's....."outfit"....but more lingerie is pretty on-brand for this game so I can't say I'm surprised.

Aris has no idea what he's talking about a lot of the time and especially with regard to NieR Automata, honestly. "Mediocre beat 'em up." Way to dismiss one of the most philosophical and thought-provoking games of the last decade. I don't even want to entertain his comments on 2B and her fans. All I'll say is that I'm gay af and love her.

Dont paint a picture as if 2B fans have been "civil" with the rest of us here that have expressed any dissapointment with the announcement.

AMillionHP is pointing out that as an observation and as someone who's received it that criticism and insults are not solely at the 2B fan base. His comment is not directed at you but you have unwittingly framed it as if 2B fans are the only ones on the receiving end of criticism and insults so he's adding his comment to give more context, like I will. I've been vocal at my disappointment of 2B in SC6 as a season pass buyer that has lead to me being the target of insults and silencing tactics of my criticisms. The mouth of razor blades towards those that criticize 2B's inclusion to SC6 has been staggering.

Then what exactly is the point in complaining about Aris being an asshat in the first place? Should anyone really care? It really doesnt make a lot of sense to me that you would choose to come to thread making those complaints if you already know how the discussion went.

Same way they are salty over anything else. If someone doesnt like something about the game
-characters, stages, costumes, online features, mechanics etc.
They will complain about it. Just like people complain about SC5 but it is apparently acceptable to do that because more people agree.
 
At least 2B isn't anywhere near as bad as Noctis and Negan being in Tekken 7, with the latter being one of the reasons why the Walking Dead has been on a decline in ratings. =|

Nonetheless, I'm still waiting for Cassandra and Hwang or Setsuka to return as the last 2 DLC characters for the first Season Pass.
