Voldo General

Yup.

After not playing for awhile, getting the timing is difficult at first.

Then it just comes back to me, I can do it pretty much any time.

Just gotta practice like mad, no other advice I can give.

hello

I accidetally did Voldo's drill move throw type of deal...

i only did it once, but I'd like to know how its officially done... It used to be k+g in soul calibur 3... (i think) I just wanted to now wat the move actually was.... and if there were any other moves that were not in the move list.....

can anyone help?

In blind stance (BS) you hit 66A+G on female characters to do his bloody drill. On male characters it does one of Sophitia's throws.

Maybe this is the wrong place to ask this, but

that being my most used move as voldo if you side step once then duck it never hits for me if you do that

Maybe this is the wrong place to ask this, but

Ok here my 2 cents... 236A+B is a whiff punisher at long range... thats about it. The UB is high and even charging it is asking to get ducked and raped vs decent players... it can hit to the sides but its high and really unsafe so I stick to using it to whiff punish until people start using TC moves from range and then I hit them for using those moves with something like a 66A+B or FC 3B... that FC 3A+B is AWESOME for punishing highs at range if you twitch duck them really good long range tool

I use an xbox 360 d pad and i get it 20% of the time and dont practice it at all its all about timing you hit 6 then 6B at the same time people say the 360 d pad u cant do it on but i get it pretty well so they are crazy and stupid

After not playing Voldo I always forget how fast you have to input the command. Really rock the shit out of you stick/pad to get it to work.

Sorry to dig this thread back up.
Does anyone know how to do those tauntlike moves where he´s got colored sparks all over him? I thought those moves didn´t make it from SC3 to 4, but I remember doing the one with blue/red sparks yesterday by accident, but couldn´t recall how.

Hi can somebody please help me find out this move i did last night...

I know i should go through the movelist but thought i would come here for a quick answer..

I was playing as gool ole Voldo and i did this move similar to aB where Voldo strikes at your ankles 3 times except this version i did looked like Voldo lunged forward while doing this 3 hit strike...

Any ideas how to do it?

11BBB, then do a K for another hit. The K really sucks, so I wouldn't use it all that much.

The move is CH 66[A+B]. It will not do the sparks if you do not hit on counterhit or hold the A+B. After a CH 66[A+B], 2A+B~CR B or CR K are guaranteed.

Enkindu is correct. A couple other points of interest about the move...
11_77BBBK, only the first two hits are guaranteed on counter. The rest can be guarded. The K is high, and you can self-RO with it. It ends with Voldo face down grounded, you can stand up with BS attacks, which makes the K not completely worthless. You will probably take damage for doing it but Voldo's BS game from grounded is strong.

Ah, so it´s only one move now. lol silly me talking about taunts, come to think of it, wasn´t it the A+K evades in 3 that had those sparks?
Thanks for the enlightenment SPQR :)

hey its my first post here and i really need help.
im a quite good voldo player but i have big problems with the input of 6:6B.
how i am supposed to do that input?
i play with the analog stick of the xbox360-controller and i have no clue how to do this JF move.

I too have issues with this input.

You need to practice it in practice mode.. i can do it about 30% of the time now.. i cannot wait until the day i can do it every time.. my game will greatly improve.

All you can do is practice.
If you find that you can't do it at all it may be the joystick because I can not get it with the joystick but I get it about 50% of the time (in practice) with the D-Pad

The analog sucks for 6:6B. The d-pad is better, but the 360 d-pad is an easily broken piece of shit regardless. I know this from experience. Trust me, just get a good joystick if you can.
