Hana no Kokoro
[06] Combatant
Some of the faces models in VI remind me of the art style used for the promotional material in III which is very nice.:D

2B's face looks out of place compared to the rest of the SC cast (and in a bad way). The artificially thin nose makes her eyes seem really wide-set, but then again she's an android.Off the top of my head for anime-aesthetics, Nier Automata and Final Fantasy games come to mind.
I was actually thinking about the metal gear solid / death stranding from japanese developers and how they've adopted a more realistic aesthetic.
Soul Calibur's always had a lot of fantastical elements, so having realistic faces (based on known celebrities) would clash with the gameplay.
Virtua Fighter would really great with the Dragon Engine or at least a version of it that can work with fighting games. I really miss VF as it has a very unique system and style, and a cool customization system.Yakuza games, the faces are really good having both made up and celebrities ones. I really want Sega to do Virtua Fighter 6 in the Dragon Engine, it's just a question if Sega feels comfortable doing another Virtua Fighter due to the series lukewarm sales.

Maybe Tira will take Patroklos this time and Pyrrha can be a reliable older sister. She surely wouldn’t murder innocent homeless.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to happen, at least not any time soon. I too am a massive Virtua Fighter fan--so much so that I have tried to keep tabs on the prospects of another entry now and again, despite the complete lack of any indication by any relevant party that another game would be happening. About a year ago, I did an especially deep research dive and depressed myself with what I discovered. Not only is the internal studio team that created the later games in the franchise now dissolved, but I couldn't find even a single senior development figure of any consequence to the production of VF4 or VF5 still working for SEGA in any capacity.Virtua Fighter would really great with the Dragon Engine or at least a version of it that can work with fighting games. Already? We’re only a month into THIS update and now they’re throwing another one at us.New patch coming

Well if that’s the case to fix inconsistencies then it’s acceptable. If it’s another one that involves more substantial amount of buffs and nerfs across the board then no, that just feels completely uncalled for especially when the current patch is still somewhat fresh.I imagine it's to adjust just a handful of things that received a lot of complaints, such as Mitsu's 1KB IIRC which is punishable on hit.
Interesting. I'm surprised Koei Tecmo hasn't been given a chance to make a Virtua Fighter title seeing as how well some of the VF cast transferred over to DOA5. Then again, it IS Koei Tecmo so...nvm. BUT when the time comes for another VF, I think SEGA should get the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio guys to make it. With Nagoshi at the helm, i think it would it turn out pretty well imo.Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to happen, at least not any time soon. And that's putting aside the obvious more general points that SEGA at large is a greatly diminished company these days that has survived in a crowded market by doing what most developers of their scale who are not internal studios do: divesting of all but their higher performing IPs and focus on their most popular titles--SEGA actually went through a massive restructuring process largely for this purpose about five years back. Between the lack of legacy staff, the new internal culture of the company and the less than heavy hitter profile of the Virtua Fighter name in a genre that is particularly hard to turn a profit in right now, I just don't think there is much to give us optimism about the future of the franchise, short-term. I really hope that things change and the series comes back at some point though, because for my money, Virtua Fighter always was one of the absolute best 3D fighter series out there (if not the single best), and it deserves a return to the field.
We used to get a patch almost monthly before the great pox. Only real dead spots being before last year's Evo and last year's holidays.Already? We’re only a month into THIS update and now they’re throwing another one at us.
In this one I disagree, Soul Charge is the best solution for some malfested characters, especially Pyrrha, I would prefer that she had the same treatment that Kilik had in SC 6 than two versions of Sophitia in separate slots.soul charge
I hope in sc7 they take soul charge and re out lol
