Well he’s blind from his years inside the Pit, so yeah that’s probably what he meant by disabled. And considering he’s been practicing the katars for years (and developed his own fighting style) it’s no surprise that he’s ripped and flexible as hell, even by SCV where’s he’s still able to do this at the age of 67.

Since the focus on Voldo, I would like to ask what outfits from SC 4/5 you guys wanted back if there is a new season.
My favorites are SC 4 1P & SC 5 2P, but I think for CaS SC 5 2P or 4 2P would be better choices. 
I think it is unlikely to have costumes from SE, SC, SC 2 OR SC 3, but if I'm not mistaken this costume was in SC 4 and BD.

SC2 3p and SC5 2p. The former seems like some kind of BDSM-chic costume, which I always thought looked pretty cool even though I'm not into that sort of stuff, lol, and the latter was so intricate with the motif of the 4 seasons, two on each side of him :)

I think the "before" pic could even come from SC2 or SC3! I don't feel like Raphael's appearance translated too well on the transition from PS2 to PS3 and onwards. I know the graphics allow for more detail on more current consoles, but somehow the faithfulness to the hand-drawn artwork of the character got a little lost along the way.I agree.

I always thought that the art and the 3d models seemed more consistent between each other in older SC games, not just for Raphy but for other characters, too. (Then again that could also be my nostalgia goggles because I am definitely guilty of being one of those 30 year old boomer types.

Well having the SC4 Raphael ugly face as a baseline is going to give you a bad starting place as your face...only so much you can do to fix that ugly mug.

My top pick would be his SC5 2P, but I imagine that one won't be the one coming back if one was. I expect SC4 1P to return seeing as it's the one most representative of his character throughout all the games.

There is something special About soul calibur 2 that is hard to put in few words, (or maybe it's just me) this game is like Enter the Dragon, epic timeless.
Weapon Master, Weapon Gallery, Team Battle, third costumes, etc. Plus, there's the nostalgia factor too.

This, but not only that, the Ost is one of the best ever, the character select screen is the best of all time imo in fighting games, maybe it's tie with SF2. I love Tekken themes many are iconic, but can't help SC2 character screen theme is simply the peak of all, i don't think there is a more iconic theme, just as i said maybe SF2 (i mean it's iconic AF) come close but i would still put SC2's above.
There is also the simplicity of the fights and visual, something i would want for SC7 is they go back to similar visual with less effects, minimal and only the necessary effects just like SC2 (dunno if it's obvious what i mean), and the characters to look like their render in SC2/3.

It was also considered the defining point of the series and often regarded as the last game of the golden age of SC. (Not saying three was bad or anything but still...)

Yeah, also many people consider it to this the best 3D fighting game ever, or simply the best fighting game ever, and i mean many many people think that, i came across youtube or facebook comments in the past that says it and had a bunch of likes. Of course i think what they achieved with SC6 is amazing, actually they surpassed my expectation in a way tbh, but there is definitely areas where SC7 can improve, just saying SC2 has something magical can't help wow this game is eternal, the legend never dies i guess.
