I'm not sure of full results, but I know I got top 16, Nofacekiller got at least top 12, Offbeat Ninja got top 16 with me (I think).

I'll post some shout outs when I have more time, but it was definitely a fun tournament and gave me some much needed character practice. I might try to hit up another out of state tournament before SD regionals next month since my local scene is all of 3 people. ;_;

More later... too many people to give shout outs too. ^_^
 
The electronic brackets will be posted soonish.. the person doing it had to drive almost 3 hours and had work at like 8 am after the tournament.
 
ggs to everyone on both days it was a lot of fun. i never knew sc4 could be so hyped but it was fun to watch.

hilde is broken. a combo that rings out from midring because of ONE mistake. that's called a broken infinite in most cases.

even more ironic. "yoda is a hilde anti-strat." -ceirnian

so ban yoda, the lil fucker with no infinite and a chance against a fucking broken ass character, and don't ban broken shit. awesome shit doods.

They mightve missed her. Not ban worthy.

There were a lot of really good matches that were never recorded. Norcal...I'll try to be there for Norcal regional weekend to hang and get games. Brian Loves You....first to 10, get hype!

Hilde definitely should not be banned, perhaps patched a bit (maybe a weaker step? or toning down the RO combo), but not banned. Now Raphael needs to receive a buff .. I think that's much more important than this Hilde issue...

Or yeah, just buff everyone so everyone can be dangerous! Counterstrike AWP map anyone?
 
I want to thank EVERYBODY that came out to this event, especially the Norcal crew. Without you guys the tournament wouldn't have been as hype as it was. It was probably the ONLY time in my life that I sang the Family Matters theme song with other people.

Thanks to Will and Simone for recording the matches. I'm sorry we couldn't record all the matches like we wanted in the first place, but I think it turned out fine. Thanks Simone for that sticky cupcake.

Huge thanks to Insomnotek, Jom and Aris for helping me run the tournament and make brackets. Sorry for running out as much as I did, I really did not want to get DQ'ed in SF4.

Good shit to the winners and placers.

All in all, it was a good experience for me. I hope everyone had a good time.
 
Great event guys. Big thanks to everybody at DENJIN ARCADE for hosting. Great arcade btw, though I can't see much with 200 people there lol. (Great game selection though! I like your cabs... but why no IIDX? =P ) Oh, and Jom, Nice to finally see you face to face after like 8 freaken years, jeeze.

Big thanks to Muse and Pendragon for the ride, otherwise I totally would of missed out.
Thanks to norcal for making room for me in the room, giving me rides, helping me transport mysetups, playing casuals, showing me cool tricks and talking strats, SOUP PLANTATION... good times.

Alex: Yeah, I sat down and though about what you said on taking the advantage (#1 rule in competition, how can I forget?) when I have it. I'll try to keep it in my mind and abuse what works more from now on. Good job on the MMs btw, lol

Brian: Damn your cervy just seem to do more damage per hit each time I see him lol. I know I didn't even get a single match against you, but playing against you always completely highlighted my weaknesses, and that's always a good learning experence for someone like me, ggs.

Manta: At this point I'm not sure if you're just programming new transistions into voldo, lol. So much mitsuVC-ish soul charge canceling, michael phelps-ing, scotty-2-hotty worming crazyness.

Cedric: You really pull through everybody's expecations man. People talk like Hilde's a win button, but you didn't let that affect you at all and did some solid improving since the last time I saw you. Congrats on winning the tourny!

Genver: You're hawt. :| and thanks for teaming with me lol. GO TEAM SCRUB. We gotta practice harder from this point, see you and everybody else soon.
