I can't believe Robotech was only mentioned once. That sucker was way ahead of its time. For a cartoon, it had adult themes like love triangles, discrimination, racial tension, war, and death. It was uncommon to see main characters in a cartoon die during that era. And Robotech was picking off fighters left and right. I only wished Min Mae was blown to pieces. I was glad Rick Hunter picked the right woman at the end.

I picked up the Robotech collection a few years back--hawtdamn they don't make 'em like they used to!

QFT! i'll never forget this one image from the Invid invasion saga (best one, imo) where they find the helmet of a hero they just met who decided to go and rambo a hive or a fortress against their advice... and when they turn the helmet over, its got a huge bullet hole in the visor.

Also agree with you there. Or at least japan should have made more footage of the original Zyuranger mechas for season 2 and 3, instead of ripping off Dairanger's and Kakuranger's mechas. >:)
