For this tier list, are characters in each tier listed from best to worst or is it simply the tier they're put in alone that matters?

Ex. Say... is this list telling me that Cass>Sophie/Cass=best or Cass and Sophie are basically just as good as another (including the rest of the characters in their tier)?

It's apparently based on someone browsing over numerous sites for tournament results. What do you guys think about this?
 
Sorry I'm late to the tier discussion...
at 1st I was insulted... Maxi was bottom last lol

But apparently the creator's of the list above think differently.
However, some of the character placing seems a bit questionable...
 
I can't believe I'm posting in a tier discussion, but compared to the "official tier list proclaimed by WCMaxi", the list we have here at 8WR actually looks pretty good.

All that matters is that they're in the same tier. Order doesn't matter.

Its not from WCMaxi... its from some random scrub who decided to call it "Official"...

Not to mention, he didn't do his research. If he did, Talim would be a lot higher, OOF does really well with Talim in Canada.

Mostly unsafe, slow, certain moves lose effectiveness at close range (including damage output, ability to launch or stun), as well as any opponent's tech crouch/tech jump moves severely limit her ability to keep an them at bay.

She has some good tools and can win, but against a well-seasoned tournament player it's going to be a tough battle and requires masterful use of her mixups. Some of the NJ/NY players have told me to drop her several times, but I won't since I like her and her playstyle. And that's precisely why I don't expect to place high in tournaments anytime soon.

To Page, E.C. or anyone else, feel free to further elaborate if I missed anything. Or if you disagree with me on anything, great. That way you might be able to give me some hope for her.
 
oh alright, haha. so it's someone else. yeah that tierlist is bogus not even gonna discuss it.

about mina, thing that makes me think she sucks from looking through her moves is that prettymuch nothing is advantage on HIT. -_-
also, left step gives her mad issues
 
@Tiamat: She isn't made for advantage setups. It's worth noting that many of her moves involve creating space between her and the opponent. She's fine against characters with weaker options for closing in, but it's characters like Setsuka that really give her trouble.

Naw... the original title for the thread had the word "Official" on it... they changed it so they didn't look stupid.
