Does BD even have to be multi-platform? Wasn't SC3 a PS2 exclusive after SC2 was on PS2 and Xbox? Tekken 5 DR isn't on Live, right? I know this is the age of "more platforms, more money" but it might be possible, if BD comes to console, it's only on PS3. That wouldn't seem quite fair though.

Not sure if Namco can get away with that. I'm sure NB signed a contract with both Sony and Microsoft regarding the franchise. I guess it comes down to the clauses. Personally, they could have a new downloadable game that would require a SC4 disc and for it to be installed in your console. That way, you would load it as a different game, but in fact it would be reading the install files in the normal SC4 game. That way, the download patch would be able to keep all the graphics from the original, and it would only add the BD extras (like armor breaking and new CF moves).

If done this way, they can keep Kratos out of the game for both consoles while keeping Top Hat Dood. Not sure how big a file it would be, but I'm hoping it would be at most double the size of the Batman Demo for the PS3.

Hopefully, they will scrap all the extra modes in the PSP version, port only the gameplay changes, and then fix up the netcode in the process. People who download it to the consoles clearly care more about online play and offline competition than about the extra modes which are fun for a portable handheld.

Last but not least, at least there was a mention of Nightmare. BUT NO ROCK! WHY!!!??? The sexiest thing in the world would be if Rock's CF move were an air throw. That way, you could finish them off in style.

Personally I think his current [B+K] would be a top-tier CF move. Or changing the actual CF animation to [B+K]. That would be awesome.
 
Hey, I got asked about it--I have to share!

I think from now on, though, I'll wear sunglasses if I'm ever recorded again. My blind-guy blinking is freaking even me out.
 
Seems like nightmare deals more dmg than before. Means his risk/reward ratio went up. Nice to see.
 
Funny stories about money matches, Brian. What got me was the guy who claimed he was under house arrest. :)
 
I noticed Voldo 's 2A+B CR K can ring out as well now.

I noticed that too. Another weird thing is that his BS A+B no longer seems to have a huge RO range. Some other stuff:

-Voldo's BS 2B hits grounded now, which is awesome.
-Frames seem relatively the same, which is also good as Voldo's frames are excellent.

On another note, Dampierre looks AWESOME. Like REALLY awesome. A THROW INTO A WALL SPLAT
 
Speaking of Nightmare, I remember one of their matches including Nightmare hitting NSS A+B on a standing opponent and causing a wallsplat for some reason. Nearly positive that didn't happen before.
 
Just saw the vids. Looks good. I really can't say anything other than that since I don't have the game. Mustachio looks very scrub friendly.
