Algol General Discussion / Q&A

i think i found a use for SRK it has a decent RO range

so if your opponents back is to the edge it puts risk reward in your favor

not something you wanna rely on

this goes double if your opponent has good reverse RO options
 
if your ignorant enough to hate algol after all this time what makes you think they arent ignorant enough to ignore "haters not welcome"?
 
Seriously though who takes the time to bother coming in the algol forum just to troll. I can't even remember the last time this happened.

oh poo sorry yh its a wall combo. But a better option wud be doing aB insted for wallsplat or just 2B+K insted of 1K. Altho doing 8B+K looks awesome.

Another good wall combo is: 3B (W) A+B 2A+B aB 11B with most wall combo's the aB often ends up wall splatting again but it doesn't here allowing you to follow up with 11B instead. It does around +40% hp.

I still prefer 6AAB for wall combo's tho as it has better wall carry.

22/88A (W) A+B (W again often) 2A+B aB for around 80 dmg with full wall splat. If not you can get a 2B in for around 72.

22/88A (W) 3B 1K 2A+B aB etc...

22/88A (W) 33B (W) (if not then 8B+K) then follow up like above.

22/88A (W) WR B standard bubble juggle. The WR B shudn't cause wall splat if it does follow up how u normally do.

WR B (W) 22B 2A+B aB (W) 75dmg

WR B (W) 6K[K] (techtrap) 2B+K half hp

algol has all the tools he needs to counter rush down.....

all he needs is aB,SRK,AA,back dash, his god like BB

also algol should not be played unsafe

Poking people to death does get wins.....

thats why algol is so annoying

30 dmg BB isnt bad dmg either

I just picked up Algol about two days ago and I was wondering if anyone could give me some help on how to do his Secret UB.
 
I'm pretty sure the most common questions about algol are

Q: How do I do Algol's secret UB?
A: He doesn't have one.

Q: What does 4B+K do?
A: It grabs someone for walking backward or backstepping.
