Yeah I was trying it on block, no CAS. I could duck the third hit just fine but if I did a normal attack after the 2, I'd get hit. I didn't try 2A or 2K, though. Meh, I'm probably just doing it wrong.

6K against lizzy will solve a lot of your troubles. Just 6K all lows in the game please.

Yeah I think so. lol

Angelic, for your Kilik 6A+B problem you just have to not run into it. Block it when you need to, but if he whiffs it, you can just 8WR around it and do whatever you want while he's poking the air a million times.

preferably 44A+B if you manage to evade it for style points

lol all that time i was wasting with only 6BB to punish it ... that means i can score a 4B then.

i got it by luck actually trying to do 6BB ,i accidentally did 66B also i doubt 4B will work because doesn't cervy tech crouch?

I dunno i couldn't get 4B, 22B or 236B to connect after blocking the pirate's BBB. The best options i could get were 33K:B from crouch, as well as WR B for spacing.


You can get both 4~BBB:b and 22 after blocking mitsu's 66BB (33K:B won't work due to range) but i could not get 66B to work (which i deduce is slower than both the aforementioned moves. On the plus side you have enough time to use B+K to manually side step the 2nd B of mitsu's 66BB, or you could side step for 4~BBB:B.

BBB is -19. Also, Angelic. You brought it up in the first place, hence the discussion on it. Regardless, it's -19, so WS B, 33K:B, and 6B+K should be guaranteed.

Before you say something can be punished, go check the frame data first, please.

weird it worked for me consistently when i was playing AIN maybe he tried to pull another attack out.

he WAS trying something after it (getting u a CH) or he crouched/didnt block which nets you a NH.

Lol frame data is an easy way of figuring out what you can do after certain moves, but playing online skews it a bit.

Btw: I have no idea how u can chat and play at the same time... I need complete silence lol

Anti-Ivy?

I understand that there's an "anti-character" thread already going on, but I feel that Ivy's such a horrible matchup for Raphael that it deserves a thread of its own. When I go into prep, Ivy's coil stance thingy (or whatever) seems to completely step it. She has a few other things that seem safe to spam on Raph whereas Raph doesn't have any good punishers against Ivy.

Hopefully I'm completely wrong, but out of all the characters I've played, Ivy seems to give me the most trouble. Anyone else experiencing this?

Anyone have any decent solutions to some Ivy staple moves?
