Just listen to the maxi user's button inputs... he hits nearly every input 5-6 times.

for example, he does WL to BBA... but he inputs B+K BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAA to get it to come out.

It's funny, the guy might get tired fast like that.
 
i have to say the reaction is damn good, Kura able to still realise he\'s still in Tira\'s counter and reacted to it despite getting hit.

but this video doesn\'t really show how strong the Maxi was, since its obvious that Kura threw the 3rd and 4th round
 
i made a post about the aGI kicking in with tira, thats how it happened with me but i didnt see any missed hits on the BK:B:B:B (as when i was doing it) i thought the move is NC how did she aGI it. is it just a tira quirk or are there more people can do similar things (i made a thread but it got merged with general now)

Tira's JS B+K is a VERY different kind of autoGI than regular. For attacks of damage less than 20 or so eg AAs, Bs etc, she becomes invulnerable (where she looks a very angry), and puts her in an autoGI mode, where she has an autoGI window that is VERY large and thus give the result shown there. The 'invulnerabiliy' frames you can say count as a regular whiff...thus enabling her to autoGI the rest. She pretty much ignores the initial hits. Conventional autoGIs won't do the same.

I don't think he did on reaction. He pretty much gambled it there. Tira did JS B+K and Maxi did B+K at the same time

Very entertaining to watch. The maxi did fairly ok although he definitely lacked knowledge of Tira. Didn't block JS 6AB, didn't block GS 6BK, didn't punish 8wr left+K etc. He was also predictable with 4B LO K (although it worked ok), also 2A -> throw. Was doing attacks out of range, as well as lacked basic attacks such as 33K and so on. I did like his B+K usage as well as 6B4 :)
The Tira played very well i thought.

Damn that Tira is great. (I'm stating the obvious.)

I'm somewhat surprised that this Maxi managed to do JF B+K.
Maybe he's one of those who are good with inputs, but they don't choose their moves so well... I saw some people like that online.
 
I think i'm gonna try to tape some of my matches soon. Not sure what the best way to do it it. Probably just try using a a digital camera on the T.V., unless anyone has a better idea.
 
you should do instructional videos uber. Like that RO B thing you were showing me. and the RC A GI theory you had. Was playing last night and you were right, everytime RC A got blocked (which wasnt much) they came up swinging right into my GI. worked EVERYTIME!! it was sex!!
 
yeah, i could do an instructional video too, though that sounds much more time consuming. I really wanted to just get some match vids first just to showcase the offensive capabilities that Maxi has. Maxi's lockdown game is really nasty and I don't think a lot of people have really figured this out yet.
 
ok, so I think i'm gonna try to make some vids tonight. Any volunteers as punching bags? You gotta have a solid Maxi defense or the vids are gonna be pointless, just me swinging chucks like crazy. I got a few people on my friends list that are pretty good at fighting Maxi, so i'll see if i can get in some games with them too
 
i'll try to tape some matches this weekend when I drive up towards some comp, but no one here where i live. I'll be playing some people going to nationals this weekend though, so those should make some good vids

Yo, you live in SF right? What's your schedule like the next couple of days? If you have time to play some offline games drop me a message. You can't say there's no comp around where you live when you live about 20 minutes away from comp in both directions (Ceirnian, Scamp, and myself Northbay......Manta and Keith on the peninsula if I am right about you living in San Francisco). You said you're gonna be playing with folks that are going to nationals next weekend, so I assume you mean either Ceirnian, Manta, BrianHatesYou, or Alex J......I haven't heard anything about this gathering but i'd like to make it there to see you take on any of them with Maxi. Let me know what's up, with either this coming weekend or possibly the next couple days if you have any time.
 
im actually in santa cruz, so its about an hour north to closest comp, but yeah, Alex said hes down for some games this weekend. I'd love to play more of you guys though. I would come up more, but I usually work weekends, and I always work at night so yeah.

And I see you got a live account now Krayzie. We should get some games in sometime this week. You're one of the few good Maxi's i have yet to play against.
 
Ah ok my bad....this whole time I thought you were in SF. Yeah Santa Cruz....you're kinda out of the way. But I will be making it down to wherever you and Alex are supposed to play whether it be his place on Brian's place.....gotta see you try to take them down with Maxi.
