Maxi Video Thread

I wouldn't have used Algol then if Tiamat hadn't specifically asked me to use him. I don't know how many more vids I will be able to make with him though seeing that I'm moving away from him soon.
 
On the CaliburForums, there were some links to vids of Maxi's movelist. Unfortunately those links are broken. Does anyone know where I can find those vids?
 
i still have a copy of that video, i\'ll put it up for you when i get back from work in like 6hours time ^^;
 
Need help improving my Maxi (vids inside)

Just started getting into the offline community where I live and I'd really like to get better. I have recorded a couple of vids of me just playing casually against the CPU on very hard (their wasn't a human partner around). Any advice is welcome, I don't care how harsh it is I need the help ;). Cheers!

Giving advice versus CPU is going to be hard as alot of the time the CPU just stands there and blocks instead of punishing and I also noticed a few times it tried unblockables at completely inappropriate occasions.

CPU dosent really play anything like a human would, so any advice given to you based on these matches is going to be almost irrelevent.

True true, I didn't want to do it against the CPU but I didnt really have an option. Still, any advice on mixups, bad habits or combo starters I'm not using ect would be awsome

Fhwoarang's opponents run into propeller like moths to a flame
He seems very inexperienced against yunseung, his linears got auto-evaded by crane a ton of times

^ Yeah, he was getting evaded alot.

Remember Fhworang, when you see Crane, use 4BBK. Crane can't evade the second hit.

And In your videos Tiamat, I'm surprised you or Fiendchi weren't punishing X's AAB and 44B on block! XD

I saw you use a little bit of stance canceling into throws/other attacks (22_88K into throw attempt! Someone read my thread! *Smiles*) which is good.

You and Fiendchi definately have different styles. That's one of the reasons I love Maxi. Everyone has a way to play him. :)
 

Too lazy to put annotations this time. Probably will if i'm bored enough.
Mistakes made as usual, but funny stuff. Mitsu couldn't do 3B-> 236 on xbox 360 pad muahaha. In some cases i got 66B4 instead of 33bA lol, i dunno why, it happened more than once. So much rust :)
Maxi's throw range is....a lil worse than i thought.

I never do! it was just this one and only time just to see what will happen, and it worked ONLY this once too :p
 
Nice vids! I like how you step, i need to practice more. I'm using 11A like you, i'm really liking it. Things I should do more:

1B - 1 fucking b??? you were using it awesome. never using BB again. I might play with 2B also to get my RCC game on
2A - i'd use it more but the xbox controller always screws me
PSL - i don't enough
PSL cancel to step - you got SO many good opportunities off that.
 
hmm maybe I should start using 2KK as oki sometimes, caught a sideroll with it for the win in the 2nd match

3rd match, the mirror, one of them is getting away with way too much BL B on block

I really gotta start using 11B
