Official SCV Stage Discussion

A wide black stage in an unknown place, with a wall to the right, and a pool of water to the left. And the stage is full of mists.

From Soul Blade - All of them were pretty awesome visually, and they had excellent music in all mixes, but I'd rather they not just be 20 x 20 squares.
From Soulcalibur II - Ostrheinsburg Chapel, Imperial Capital Ayutthaya, Pirate's Alcove, and South France Mansion - Library were all incredibly awesome stages, with awesome music to go with them.
From Soulcalibur III - Clock Tower and Lost Cathedral really stand out as the best stages this time around. Also with great music.

Other than that, not much else that I'd want to see again - I know for a fact I don't want to see the Tower of Remembrance again.

VENICE (Italy),maybe during the Carnival

SANTORINI (Greece)

.3. Italy - say, a Venetian bridge. Especially if Ezio ends up the guest character, this would be a no-brainer for adding a lot of rich detail and artistry to the environment, while having an obvious RO in the form of the canals.
YES! Fucking make this happen namco!

In general, I would like to see more stages based around more world locations from that time period. SC4 did not have enough of that when the previous games did, especially SC3.

I always remember Soul Calibur 3, first for the inspirational music and second for the superb stages...

Check the stage above, is a real example of a battle stage; and also is astonishing beautiful and martial arts related; I love this way of doing stages... not the way it turns in SCIV...

The Stages should be like in SC3; characters command list and options have to be like in SC2 and balance have to be like in SC(DC), oh and GI plus graphics have to be like in SCIV(or better)... but definitely STAGES HAVE TO BE LIKE IN SC3(stages related to characters directly).

Places that I've thought of (while thinking about the early 17th century):
Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Basilica Cistern, Turkey

Praia da adraga, Portugal
(we need a beach stage!~ :D)

Eyjafjallajökull Glacier, Iceland - possible non-RO stage

could be a stage for a Viking-like character

Other stages with no set location:
An eerie-looking graveyard...

A waterfall stage (not background eye-candy, you're actually near them)

I might post more later.

Why would they be dancing? It would be better if they had guards on each side of the hallway to contain their fighting while the attendees watch from behind them.

Oh there'd definitely be some footman etc, but I thought it'd be cool to have a (circular) arena surrounded by Ivy's waltzing, aristocratic contempories - it could be very effective (especially if they are masked and slightly creepy) and would add some animation to the stage in a series where the stages are usually quite static. One of the best recent stages (IMO) was the Phantasmagoria stage because it was so vibrant and animated. I can imagine the fight taking place in front of a scene similar to the below image - perhaps Ivy has managed to restore the fortunes of the Valentine family?:

well abridge foritaly wouldn't fit because it would be too small ... but we have beautiful squares everywhere...
My city main square:

Obviously all stage must be filled by dodos to be successfull ...

Well in Italy we have TONS and TONS of possible locations :D
From snow alps to south italy sea to tons of beautiful cities

I was thinking ever about italy,a lil less knowed place

Park of Monsters of Bomarzo

I understand your idea. If you where at a ball, dancing, and an incredible fight came about, would you continue to dance or try to catch a glimpse?

Yes ofcourse, but taking a bit of poetic licence can't do any harm right? And it'd be an amazing, period-correct spectacle. Plus stages in other series often have stuff going on the background that isn't focused on the fight itself. (Demitri's stage in Vampire Savior featured a dancing couple, I just figured expanding that in amazing 3D visuals would be pretty fun).
