Nope. Cervantes got some unnecessary damage buffs, his best combos are now an additional 10 points, plus iGDR is no longer iGDR, 28B, now it's just 8B. Oh and they added 20 points to his best wall combo.

Thanks Namco, for making the strongest punisher in the game even stronger! I love you!!
 
While I hate that 4BB:A is no long a combo on NH, I bet in the end Cassandra is going to be better than she was in 4. They seem to want her more JF relient.

The thing is, they have taken out a lot out for a char thats not even top tier. I dont see her crappy moves getting any buff.

-CH WP 3A gets no followup! nothing. She doesnt have any i16 good range mid horizontal moves that gives a gurranteed combo. Does every long range move have to be a bloody poke that gives nothing? Hilde gets plenty, why cant she keep hers?
-9gB gone, used to be accessible from WP and CL. Its her best TJ move that supports Whip and Coil.
-WP 6B+K is forced to change stance back into Coil, the command which allows players to stay in Whip is gone. So after the pushback, Im in Whip range, why the fuck should I be stuck in coil?
-Because her WP B+K series must go back into Coil, she cant use her rocket launcher!
-SW [A+B] UB damage nerfed, great. Fair enough. Aside from that why are her general combos also nerfed?
-Stance switch hold is gone. You hear us going on and on about this and wonder what this means. It just means her stance switching is going to screw her at crucial times because of her stance cooldown. We now need to bloody "mash" like a freakin idiot just to get her to switch at the earliest possible time where in the past we only need to hold and wait for the timer.

These are big changes that does affect her strength and done without consideration to her complicated stance game. Its just pathetic. Looking out for new measures? Her general damage aside from SE JF B is weaken. She gets nothing buffed in her stance movelists. She is a char that requires fluidity in stance switch and that is being tampered with which is what pisses people off the most. The fact is what she has lost is too great, any minor additions to her which i doubt can even measure up. As for the game being out too early, its just been released, but I wont simply shut the fuck up just becos ppl say let her fight other chars for a while and see how she goes. What is gone cant simply be improvised without something good to measure up.

The reason Im going all boiled up is if they go all lazy and simply port BD into console without paying attention to the flaws we point out. Since when does downgrading make anyone happy when its not game breaking? I hope its not to make Kratos look stronger by making her Whip look like a joke.
 
WS->Step is working in SCBD. That mean FC->buffer step is easier now.
For example Amy's 1A -> Force FC -> You can buffer the step easier from FC or WS.

Hold off on this business about Mina being nerfed.

First, that's probably not technically possible.

Second, she's not nerfed, she's just very different. We'll have to see how things work out.

I don't have the game, but, from the A+B+K combo thread, it seems like Mina has a fair number of ways to combo into those, and she is good at getting people into the flashing red, so, maybe that'll help her out some? (long as the rest of her game hasn't been nerfed too badly)

I figured no one would take the complaint seriously simply bcos they dont main her or too happy enjoying other aspects of the game. Its not like escalating and throwing in the pitchforks would have any effect now. I probably need to escalate it to the point the thread disintegrates? No Im not gonna do that.

Just felt they made her the scapegoat to make the game more balanced. Namco: Look we made some balance changes, it is for sure Ivy's Whip need to be tweaked so that other ranged characters can get a leverage in the matchup. Ivy's main damage is from command throws, lets throw away her guranteed combo stuns and make it shakeable to see more throws happening. Ivy's RO WP combos are too strong, lets get rid of the option so she isnt as BS. Tho did they think about the risk reward, execution into those moves?

Didn't Eli say that he forgot to test 6B+K? I can live with 1/2/3B+K always going into CL, but 6B+K needs to be able to stay in WP...

Having a move pushback and then always send you into a shorter ranged stance is counter productive...

This is confirmed. 6B+K does back into coil.

Her WS B infinite is also back!!
 
wow. hearing that makes me think BD is more of a downgrade than an upgrade lol. How could they miss WSB infiinte?????

and yun has a low that leads to 200pt damage at the wall. mmmmm not looking good
 
PO K being unshakeable means Taki would actually have something decent.

... which means it's false. =P
 
I was right in that she can combo into A+B+K, but I was wrong in that it won't CF your opponent. Sorry.

And I just tested PO K for you, it's still shakeable.

Well considering its the PSP pad we are talking about, its pretty damn hard to shake anything.
 
This may have been answer before, tho does anyone find the frame calculator on the bottom left hand corner reliable?
