SCV Story Speculation/Discussion

I think the person writing the story thought it would be clever to have her missing for many years so there's some drama between Patroklos and Pyrrha when they realize who eachother is. I think the guys designing her moves wanted her to be similar to Sophitia. I think the person designing her outfit thought it would be neat to have her costume take elements from Cassandra and Sophitia's outfits.

I don't think those 3 parties never really cared to make sure it made sense when looking at the bigger picture.

There's already bigger plotholes anyway. Like how Siegfried's ending in SC4 is supposed to be the canon ending... and then Namco ignores the fact that Siegfried and the entire world got crystalized.

That whole canon ending thing makes me mad. They BLATANTLY ignored it, yes, but that's not what this thread's for, now is it? C:

Her design and move theories are very plausible and possibly what's the truth.

Killed by a malfested? That sounds different from what the Soul Archive has listed.
I'm probably remembering wrong, but I remember "Sophitia" and "malfested" being mentioned very closely in the same sentence. I'll honestly try to find the issue again ASAP to confirm/deny/adjust what I've said.

Well, So am I.

The Baker Girl was everyone's favorite in SE and later on broke a million virtual hearts when she married Rothion ( whom we referred to as "The Idiot").

Now she is dead ( unless deus ex machina steps in ) and we get new pics of her son.

Nice.*sarcasm*

*Offers a group hug for the fans of The Baker Girl* I will admit, her character was always very emotional and I really liked her storyline and I wish that the canon ending was Sophi's.

It's hit me pretty hard, Sophitia has been my main since SC1, I was always happy to see her return in each successive game, but now....that's all over. :,(
There's the possibility people's speculations are right and Sophitia will return as a boss character or a character ala Nightmare.

Or maybe I'll succeed in my effort to visit Namco offices and slap everybody with a frying pan until they agree to add Cassandra to the game.

True, Soul Edge Sophitia is a possibility, thing is though she wouldn't really be Sophitia at that point. She'd be essentially a new character that happens to have Sophitia's body(and fighting style), but not her soul.
Do you wear glasses? Since Pyrrha is similar to Sophitia, you can take off your glasses whenever you play as Pyrrha, and since it's so blurry you can go all "Yay, I'm playing as Sophitia!"

... sorry, my suggestions are becoming horrible now :-P
