Soul Calibur 6 CaS Discussion

I see what you guys mean lately, I mean, yeah, it does somewhat feel like a simple copy/paste of SCV's gear lumped on VI, however, yeah, I think I did see some new stuff. And some new options. (Hopefully they don't go full stupid again on the outfit restrictions.)

Either way, I hope that they'll include the unused DLC gear that they didn't add to SCV, including those arms that looked very "Asura" like. Still kinda salty that two DLC's that were from SCV (the Swimsuit with Nametag, and the female Cadet gear) are JP store specific pre-orders. And unsure if we'll get those our way stateside in one form or another.

Either ways, I'm looking forward to get back in the CAS spirit with VI again, lol.
 
So, we know now that there are a few pieces from past games 2Ps in this game, which ones are you guys looking forward to be back?
(Mind you it will most likely come from IV and V if they are indeed in)

My personal favorite female 2P costume out of the entire game.

Honestly though i doubt they'll include it due to similarities with the Valkyrie set (i hate those goddamn swans).

I'm under the impression we will be getting 2P pieces from characters on base, this is based in very little evidence other than having SCV Tira's 2P corset and SC IV Zas' pauldron. Of course this is all just a guess game and wishful thinking.

My theory is that each character on the base game will have a past costume as CaS pieces, I think from their latest appearance. That would be a great way to build hype and remedy the "no 2P" controversy, otherwise people might whiny about they re-using 2Ps.

So, look for the latest 2P they had and that one is my bet as the one coming back in the base game.

I hate the Valkyrie costume, because of the faces, the top sucks a lot and the hair visor thingy clips with literally everything, but the faces on the arm and leg pieces sucks.

That said, I hope since Elysium used her model, they consider this as Sophie latest 2P

one thing I want to see is the nightmare race having a big gross arm as an option... rule 63 nightmare... think about it.

I mean, I could just say everything, but I'd hope for Amy's 2P (which is also her 1P, so...), Edge Master's 1P, Elysium's 2P, Ivy's SoulCalibur IV 2P, Natsu's 1P/2P, Xianghua's 2P, Viola's 1P/2P, and Z.W.E.I.'s 1P/2P the most. Extra request for Raphael's SoulCalibur IV 1P, though that would have to come from Broken Destiny, so that's less likely than the rest.
 
I must have the Princess and Duelist sets. Maybe parts of Setsuka’s IV 2P too.

The story trailer apparently had a prototype Astaroth which makes me think we’re getting his heart as an item. Like Nightmare’s spine I guess?

Still, parts of the Tiger Lily set suit Taki well I guess but I really want to use the Spy Robe with her even if it’s what 99% other female ninjas wear.
 
I'm most excited for Viola and Pyrrha's 2P hairstyles, Viola's 2P pants and shoes, and the Princess Boots.
Also if we're getting Setsuka's 2P skirt, I hope it's the longer version that Setsuka actually wore. Wasn't a fan of the CaS version.
 
Really doubt it, but what would be really nice as a throwback would be to get the KOS-MOS set back. Valkyrie and Gil are nice (also Neneko's hat), but it was just super amusing to have KOS-MOS parts, totally unexplained, just yep, that's a thing.
 
would they really bring back the KOS-MOS stuff though?

xenosaga has been dead and buried for years now...
 
So have Legend of the Valkyrie and The Tower of Druaga, and that didn't really stop them. KOS-MOS just has one of those classic iconic looks, you know? And it would feel right at home with the Automaton race. Most people used Zasalamel's style for KOS-MOS, to emulate her F-SCYTHE, and with the return of Zasalamel, I'd also welcome the return of KOS-MOS.
 
And since they actually do long hair now, they'd be able to make the Type X hair its proper length, or closer to it. Also the boots and gloves would likely look way more like the original ones did.
Sadly, it's not very likely to happen. For me, a nice consolation would be a new voice option with a KOS-MOS-like personality done by Bridget Hoffman and Mariko Suzuki lol
