I dont know, did Tekken follow that line of thought? They might think to fill the whole first season with guests and put all the legacy characters on a second season.

Well we already knew we were getting a guest in the season pass, so the only thing to complain about is you don't like the guest they picked and that's fair enough, I personally would have preferred Kuromaru from queen of fighters but oh well that's life.
That complaint is very different from being told we're getting a guest character in the season pass and then getting 4 guest characters regardless of who they are imo.

Well i dont believe whoever they select wont also make a huge impact and increase sales. While it might be true that 2B has the most impact, i wouldnt say no one else could and still better than legacy characters. The impression i'm getting from your response is anyone else is too obscure and not worth it.
 
We never knew we were getting a guest and i wish people would stop saying this like it was ever a fact before hand we had a "maybe" from Okubo and of course he would say that if we were getting one or not.

if we were basing known facts on maybes then hwang and lizardman would be in the game right now and inferno would be a mimic...

I wonder if that's her taunt or just a special action she can do. It'd be rather odd to have a taunt that doesn't even address the other opponent.

I'll admit i definitely took that statement as "ok, we are getting another guest"

But then i also took "Geralt was selected because of popularity and he fits in the world of Soulcalibur"

As "Ok, technological androids are off the table."

Ia also assumed, "This will be the most content packed Soulcalibur ever" didnt include DLC.

no that means literally nothing
of course geralt is the ONLY guest character on the disc
the only other way there could be any other guest is from DLC

it is a purposefully innocuous statement as in if they didn't get 2B or any guest for whatever reason it's still true.

There was no reason to specifically say "on the disc", unless they knew there was another guest. The vague statement would have been "at this time."

6.2 GB is pretty big for just balance changes. My guess is that it has all the 2B data. MINERS GET TO WORK!

What's the new version? Mine shows 01.01.00
 
Could be adding 2B in the update.

Or maybe removing Denuvo and adding a different type of DRM? I've heard companies get their money back if Denuvo gets cracked within the launch window if they remove it from the game.

"at this time" is still implying the same thing
there's a reason they don't come right out and say it till it's final

they can hint at whatever but there are numerous times when game devs have said "yes this thing is in game or will be in game" and it hasn't been, if you can't even trust them to tell you the truth when they are seemingly stating facts then why trust a vague statement

and SC6 is far from the most content packed SC game, it's still behind SC2 and SC3 in that regard.
 
The PAK files changed in size by a mere 400KB. I've got a feeling they tweaked some small files and then recooked everything in UE4 (which would result in the download being huge despite only minor changes).

This is perhaps the most often misquoted thing about SoulCalibur VI, being only half the statement. He was talking specifically about story content, and this is true, that SoulCalibur VI is, by far, the game with the most story content. Legit, completely canon, 100% bona fide story content.

This is quite disappointing. Final Fantasy XII did this too, not because of UE4, but because the entire game is literally one file.

It's version 01.01.01 now. Much change. Very update.
