Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

I wonder if Taki wasn't plan for tomorow if she wasn't leak, if so i guess she is the May reveal and there won't be reveal until E3 next month

... Or unless they were planning to reveal Taki with another character. So that other character should be reveal this month. Of course speculation, just if...

IDC, I'm going to accept my gut's feeling we're going to get something(Maybe Setsuka or Talim IDK), even if I'm always wrong and end up Guard Crushing my own dreams.

I've a feeling PS are running out of time and that's why we don't have the Ivy and Zasa breakdowns yet.

There is absolutely no point in expecting any reveals to happen before E3, especially with it being so close.
Not to be a killjoy, but I wouldn't get too hopeful for SoulCalibur news at E3. Outside of a big reveal (i.e. SC6 exists, Geralt is joining the roster), a roster update to a niche game in a niche genre is not going to generate much hype. Namco might even (correctly?) conclude that E3 is a bad time to release SC6 news, since it'll just be background noise against bigger game announcements. We should probably temper our expectations.

But that said, perhaps a new build will be playable and we'll get new gameplay footage.

Aaaactually... my sixth sense tells me we might get something... in like 24 hours. But what do i know?! ...

I feel the same my friend @Soul! Maybe tomorrow we'll have another character reveal because we had an early Taki reveal, if it will not happen tomorrow, then the next week! I think that we'll have one or two character reveals until E3!

It doesn't matter how niche the game is, the potential audience at E3 is the biggest they're going to get, as far as visibility and generating excitement for the game.

Two things are always huge news at E3, trailers for new games and release dates for WIP titles. Namco knows this, we know it. They'd be incredibly foolish not to have some kind of major announcement. The argument that it'll get drowned out among other things doesn't really make sense... it's not like they'd be better off announcing the release date on another random day just because other bigger games are at E3. Not to mention the fact that Namco has a lot of money behind them, they can afford a visible announcement at prime viewing times at E3.

There's just no reason to believe otherwise apart from incompetence on Namco's part, or the game was delayed.

I think that's a good point, but precisely because it's a niche game in a nice genre that in E3 they will finally reveal info about game modes because people that don't play SC will continue without playing after seeing some roster update but after looking at nice game modes it might be a different story.

We're definitely getting a new trailer & a new playable build at E3. And it wont be just another character reveal, it's definitely going to be something different and bigger. I personally think it's going to be a story trailer.
