I'm happy so much of this is separated. One thing which is not shown here is that you also get access to Hilde's top without armour. So you get a lot of freedom with the pieces.

It makes me wish they'll give us her SC4 1P as bonus and have that be separate pieces too:

But realistically, I'm betting we'll get her SC5 1P as that was already implemented into Lost Swords as CAS pieces.

Loving Hilde's new princess-warrior look. Fun fact (if it hasn't already been posted) - They have now assigned her with a city of birth within the Wolfkrone Kingdom, along with all the usual bio detail - "Stolzstadt, Kingdom of Wolfkrone" - it literally means Proud City in German. They also list her previously unmentioned mother (the Queen; Dietrinde) and brother (the prince, presumably younger than her; Alfred). Nice new detail!
I really appreciate how they're adding more detail to her as a character. She seemed so empty previously, in comparison to the info we're getting now. It's starting to make sense to me about why she cares so much about her kingdom; she's not just some random trope about a dutiful ruler, because her motivations have better context now. She's had her family stability screwed with due to illness of her mother and bro, and the Evil Seed affecting her father. Plus there's the detail that she'd avoid her studies to go be among more common people, so obviously her bond to her kingdom means a lot to her. I really was never keyed into that before, until the little details about her were dropped recently.

That said, few people could afford such embellished armor, but that's a cost and wealth thing, not a choice thing. It's hand me downs, and budget clothing, potato sack outfits vs. fine embroidered silks. So yes most people would, male or female have generic crap armor, but those who could afford the finery, they damn well did or would, as wearing and having such finery is a sign of power, prestige and privilege.
The general rule was that you had to be mega rich in order to afford any kind of a full plate armor set to begin with. Full plate by definition was expensive and awesome, there was no such thing as a generic crap full plate. That's like asking for a cheap generic SpaceX rocket. There is no such thing.
If you were not super rich, you wore chain mail at best, dirty rags at worst.

So Hilde is like Jeff Bezos, if he was Jeanne d'arc.

Again, the boob plate has negligible effect on the survivability of the person wearing it. Enough to be basically zero effect.
It's all about how thick you make a breast plate which comes at the cost of mobility and stamina. Besides as Klimat points out the biggest offender when it comes to armour designs these days is that she isn't wearing a helmet which BTW is the most important piece of armour you can have on a battle field. Ever since I found that out it's been getting increasing hard for me to watch battles in fantasy media where you have so many armoured soldiers missing them all in one place let alone the fact the battle tactics in fantasy media make no god damn sense.

maybe they replace a lesbian barbarian for a slut barbarian Kappa

For three days and three nights. Poor Tam Tam. XD

Men have been allowed to express their sexuality through armor for centuries, if one really wants to stand up for women's rights and equality, then the right way to do that is to allow women to choose to express their sexuality in the same way afforded to men throughout all these centuries, not to deny them the ability to do. There is nothing wrong with women, the female form, or the expression of it through various means.
Jesus Fucking Christ, guys. It just looks stupid. None of this stuff makes it look any less stupid. lol

You know what? I'll give actual critique. The way that the cups are molded onto the armor in the 3D model makes it look awkward. It looks slightly more natural in the 2D art. But, if they were going to do it at all, it should've been a smoother contour. Not stapling two globes onto the armor. As of right now, it's goofy. The armor otherwise isn't mimicking a human body akin to Greek armor. It might look better if it were. But, it just looks like someone punched outward twice from the inside of the armor and called it a day.

There's a big difference wealth wise between being able to afford plate made by an armorsmith and plate made by a renown armorsmith with gold and silver pkating and wirh designs made with the influence of renown artists. It's like comparing someone well off with the super rich. Someone well off can afford plate, but only the super wealthy can afford the best. There is varying levels of wealthy you know. It's like owning a boat and a mansion to owning multiple mansions and a couple yachts, there's a difference. Sure both can afford a nice house and boat, but only one can afford super luxury.

This is my biggest issue. Whether or not it's okay to have sexuality expressed through armor isn't a concern for me. It's more that it's just not aesthetically pleasing. Hilde's SCIV 1p breastplate had a boob mould, but it wasn't as... crappy... as this one is. I think because this SCVI one has such a sharp contour, it just looks kinda forced and cheap, not pleasing to look at. Lmao "punched outward twice from the inside" is accurate.

The lack of a helm is a different topic all together. One I'm in agreement on.

It's midevel not greek. It's about as acurate to tits as cod pieces are to cocks.

True, but if you are able to afford a full plate armor, you should also be able to afford some kind of decorations if you want to no problem. Maybe not the best in the world, but at least something half decent. It usually doesn't take Leonardo da Vinci to carve in fancy engravings on metal or something in that spirit.

All I said was that it's not aesthetically pleasing. That's a personal opinion. I'm not talking about how accurate it is to actual breasts. I was just comparing it to another costume of hers because I don't think this one looks that great. On top of that, I wasn't trying to say it would have looked better in a Greek style; I was replying to someone else who did. The breast plate looked better in SCIV to me, that's it.

*Edited to redact petty, savage closing sentence.
