That list has :sc1min1: and :sc2rap1: on it at least. Hope it can be true. Weird about Lizzy and hope Hwang can be DLC. As long as they can be DLC if necessary, I’m fine with that.

What raft stage? Hope it’s got lava like Yoshimitsu’s. Doubt it though since almost every game had a lava stage.

I played SC4 yesterday and when Cassandra made a grab on Sophitia she said "I'm so sorry Sophitia" after it. Special dialogues in fighting games in 2008? :sc1sop1:

I know many people would be excited and hyped for Amy, but at the same time there would be quite an outcry for her being in the launch roster while Raph is at home screaming “AYYYMIIIIEEE” 24/7.

Then again, it’s usually typical for Raphael to receive the short end of the stick no matter what game he’s in.
 
Hope that list is right, but the lack of Lizzy baffles me. The one seen in the pics looked generic enough and seeing them twirl like Sophitia would be really silly.

I have no idea if any of this is true since Vergeben has gotten things both right and wrong in the past. But I was randomly reminded of another supposed leak which happened a few months ago by someone claiming the second new character in the game is called Azwel. I looked up that leak and that's a guy who implies he was involved in the localization of the game, and he has talked a lot about roster details (based on what he's saying, it sounds like he's ever only looked at pure text from the game and no other assets).

He posted this list of characters:

First of all, it's a bit weird Ivy is listed as Ivy Blade but maybe he was writing off a list with weapon names.

But the more important thing I noticed about the list is where the crazy conspiracy stuff comes in: the order of characters. I've modded several SC games and I've noticed the games maintain an internal list of characters which has never changed since SC1 (even SC5 still reserved spots in the list for where Hwang and Inferno would be even though they haven't been playable for many games), and the order this supposed leaker used for his list matches that perfectly for every character. And if this guy worked on the localization for the files and he was writing this list based off one of the text files for the game then it makes sense it's this order he would be using.

So there you go. Solved. I'm the hero. You may proceed to shower me with riches. And now let us all panic because I don't see Cassandra in the list. (It's also possible he faked his list by looking up a list of characters which was written down by a modder, but let's just assume he's not fake since that makes me seem super smart.)

This supposed leaker's take on Groh's dad I guess. All he says is that they belong to the same organisation; I could easily see them having Groh turn against his Illuminati comrades when it inevitably comes out they want to use Soul Edge for bad stuff.
 
There’s an implied Arthurian motif, not to mention Yggdrasil showing up in the character select screen.

Maybe they’re SC-gone-Knight-Templar supporters?

I get the impression that Taki has some crazy shit under the hood but it's arranged differently than it has been in the past. As a result, it just hasn't been uncovered as quickly as it has been with some other characters.
 
Almost forgot about Sophitia always apologizing after doing some moves to the opponent, make you want to play her just for this lol

That would be cool, actually introducing some Illuminati in SC can be good idea for the storyline.

Follow the story mode list, there’s only 5 slots lefts for returners. Remaining slots are two left, those are bosses, one possible boss is a new character. It has been discussed before, most of you seem to disregard my warnings.
