Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

I would not reasonably expect an SC announcement tomorrow. They will be revealing a game during the opening ceremony, and I think the focus is going to be on that. I think we'll get a gamescom announcement on Thursday.

I wouldn't mind being wrong, though.

So the release date is listed as October 18th instead of the 19th. Is Steam getting it a day early?

(And I know that preordering games is never a good idea nowadays, but the urge is killing me...)
Literally zero risk in a Steam preorder, since you can refund it no questions asked within 2 hours of gameplay.

+3 CaS pack.
Only +2. But 100+ items in those 2 packs.

But Okubo will be on a plane by then

That is a good sign for tomorrow.

Hard to believe those packs will be worth the $10 left in the Pass. T7's first SP valued a fucking bowling minigame at over half of the price of the sp.

SP2 is doing much better for T7 tho, with 6 $5 characters and a $25 SP, meaning the value is actually proper feeling.
Those 100+ items better not be variations on sexy swimwear. I mean we hate the armor break, but seriously? Not even for dudes.
After T7's "100+ customization parts" literally being gold pallet swaps for every character, i wouldn't put much weight into that, especially after seeing they're already recycling bikinis from SCV.

I'm having a hard time deciding whether to buy on Steam or on PS4. What do people see as the pros and cons? Steam probably will involve more irritating hackers, right? And in the case of Dark Souls, it was frustratingly a lot more difficult to contact other players on Steam compared to over PSN. But what would be the benefits? Any ideas if there will be matchmaking cross-platform? Anyone done a weighted analysis here?

1 day early to be able to download the game, but the game will unlock the October 19. I was able to pre download Tekken 7 the day before it came out, so there you go.
