Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

It's a button press. Not bad at all for a free preorder bonus
nice. thanks. I'm relieved to hear that, cuz I was worried it would make sound everytime you open the case, which would get annoying rather quickly.....lol.

well, I'll check out the case when I pick up my Deluxe version later this evening.

So far im playing soul chronicles getting to know the characters story better and the lore having a blast saving libra for last as i see it has unlockables and rpg elements which is something im really looking forward too. Game is awesome i luv it no complaints so far. Even though in the beginning i had the out of sync issue with voice/volume idk what happened it worked its self out and my game is on 1.01 is that what you guys have too? I fired it up this morning to download TIRA and buy season pass everything good but no day one update. Dont tell me the 1.01 is the day one? Btw how are you guys enjoying it a blast right? Btw grey dots 200% are for DLC tira just got downloaded and she now ocupies one of the spots in the lower right where there was a dot so now we definitely know those are DLC spots no question abiut it.
Good to hear brook, glad you all seem to enjoy the game :)
So dots are DLC...oh well, i didn't mind much anyways. So far, only thing i haven't seen is Libra and i'm SO looking forward to gameplay footage of it, very hyped 'bout it!

So according to steam charts SC6 had an all time peak of 14,400
in comparison tekken 7 had an all time peak of 18,700
and? the day one peak numbers dont say much about long term sales or playerbase.
we will have to wait and see how it turns out for soul.

Played for 6 hours today, some thoughts:
1). Gameplay is great, I love it!
2). The game is butter smooth even on my old PC. I only had slowdowns on certain stages under certain circumstances, yet lowering effects quality a bit fixed it completely.
3). I remember people were complaining there is no boss battle at the end of Arcade mode. Actually that is not entirely true. The last 8th battle in arcade is certainly not random, but dependant on arcade difficulty: I've completed Arcade on Normal three times and each time the final battle was Geralt, I've then completed it on Easy twice and both times the final battle was Nightmare. I've completed arcade on Hard once and the final battle was Groh, I bet if I go and complete it on Hard once more, it will be Groh as the final fight again. I haven't completed Arcade on Very Hard yet, so I wonder if someone else here did and who the final boss actually is. My best guess is Azwel, still there is a slight chance of Inferno...
4). CaS systems are good with lots of potential, but currently lacking content with little items to choose from. Many items being gender-locked is also bad news (I really want some male-only items on my Red Sonja inspired CaS, but unfortunately I can't have them).

no but it gives us an idea of interest in the game

using it as an aggregate we might be able to predict the sales figures for sc6 when compared to t7 which might be something around 2 mill if we assume it's a forth less popular than t7. however we would need data from xbox and ps4 to give an accurate guess which I don't think is available.

"Lesser" Lizardman's moveset:

Same CE as Sophitia (and very much broken), missing CAS animations, a lot of input resulting in no attacks, and he's even called "Lesser Lizardman" behind the scenes. I think it's safe to say he was only ever meant to be used by AI.

That is sad. No Lizardman... No Hwang... Roster feels incomplete.

My guess is you datamined this right? Were you able to uncover anything else or is the game well constructed to only mine it on the surface?

Thanks for the info and proof btw :)

Welp. It's not unlikely he will be DLC and this is just... what they had, but if he isn't this marks the very first Soul Calibur to not have a playable lizardman.
