Assuming they're willing to take risks after SC5 nearly killed the franchise. Even then, the fact that there's only two newcomers feels like they'd prefer playing it safe.

As much as I would like to agree with you we need at least one more guest.
SC6 traffic is bad at the moment and vet characters can stabilise traffic for online play we need a guest to pour in general interest.
Hopefully by then the online problems plaguing the game would have been fixed.
But like it or not a guest at some point in the 2nd season pass is needed and no more “clones”/similar weapons types would be the best route.
I myself have had discussions about returning characters like rock and li long amongst casuals I’ve tried getting into the game.
And the casuals don’t care for similar weapon types even Amy and Cassie are a hard sell and they have a bigger fan base.
And I agree with them to a certain extent rock and li long will turn general people off season 2.
Original weapon types provide a much stronger selling point.

Yes. But they may reveal Cassandra the day before the armor pack drops, same like Amy.

To be honest, I hope they alter her face. If we get a trailer and she looks like she was just ported from lost swords but in a different outfit, I will never shut up about it.

I don’t think she’ll be released before June. A reveal at the end of May would be nice however.
