It did but it also gave a list of games that have been tested with the name change beta that didn’t have any technical issues.

SC6 was released after April 2018 but with the risks of issues and hassle involved I wanted to scout for specific experiences with this game.
Just to save me from bugging PSN via twitter to fix any errors.

But I’ll bite the bullet tonight!

The violin version is the original arcade/soundtrack version. The erhu version is for the consoles.

The SC2 library theme has a similar thing where the console version has the Spanish guitar, but the arcade version doesn't.

I think Mortal Kombat is testament to this actually working out well, with character memorability and impact proven to be more a function of personality and, dare-I-say-it, character, rather than sexualisation amd attractiveness like it is in soulcal. The time taken to flesh out character dialogues adds so much more depth that a narrowing of a jawline or a widening of an ass.

Namco (tekken and soulcal) has turned all their characters into 1-dimensional caricatures of themselves. Just look at the blandness of the new characters in either series.

With that said MK gameplay can’t really compare to bamco, Tekken 7 is what 5 years old now.

And SC6 has had a laughable budget when compared to MK11 still SC ideas and implementation is creative and impressive.
Even to their own detriment, SC has offered a different experience every instalment.

With the legacy characters set to return and the nerfing of RE SC6 ain’t out just yet.
Personally I feel SC characters are just fine as they are...
They don’t need to change nationality to reinvent themselves either.

What about Sophie's cold, dead, expressionless face? It never changes. That smile is scary. Talim isn't better either, it's like the two of them can't feel negative emotion.
 
Speaking about faces I feel they tweaked a bit Ivy's between reveal and game's launch, she had a bit more serious face and expression in the reveal trailer and she looked a bit more younger.

Honestly, if you'd have asked me five days ago who, if anyone, had the same basic facial model as in the last gen games, I doubt I could have said with any confidence that I knew for sure. Personally, it's just not so much on my radar; I'm more fixated on the gameplay, balance, and multiplayer/online experiences in terms of areas where I've felt let down--and not super let down: more 80-85% on the basic nuts an bolts stuff. That is, respectable but I have gripes. In terms of style, I've been mostly quite pleased, especially as CaS grows, and the only one glaring (but indeed quite significant) flaw in the visual design of the game is the stages, which have never been fewer or more meh collectively. This all makes me curious: now that we've had six months plus experience with the game, and patching is proceeding, with signs of ongoing support for a little while at least, how is this game overall shaping up in terms of it's rank as a solid entry in the franchise, among fans? I'm tempted to start a survey.

To me the way NRS treats their character designs is a complete and utter disgrace. Somehow Quan Chi alone is allowed to be consistent, while everyone else jumps all all over the place with each new game. Simply disgusting.
