Soulcalibur V coming as a Digital Download!

Namco just announced today that Soulcalibur V will be coming as a digital download to both Playstation Network and Xbox Live this Tuesday on April 23. Though this shouldn't really matter since everyone reading this message on this website should already have a copy of the game!

The game will be available at a discounted price at $19.99. So if you haven't picked it up yet, this would be a great time to do so... especially if you don't have it for both consoles. In Europe as well, there will be a "Legendary Edition" for €29.99 which features the game and all available DLC.

It will be available on the PlayStation®Network for 19.99€/19.99$, on April 23rd for North America and on April 24th for Europe, North America, Middle East, Africa and Australasia.

In addition to the stand-alone version of SoulCalibur V is coming to Xbox® LIVE Games on Demand and via the PlayStation®Network, an exclusive SOULCALIBUR™V: Legendary Edition will also be available for download in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Australasia for download for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system for 29.99€.

The Legendary Edition includes the full game, plus the additional character Dampierre and the downloadable costumes and armor sets.

Sadly, all I can do is gently acknowledge they're haters and move on. Reasoning with a stubborn and negative fool is futile, but I just assist them when they need help here.

At the very least, they're here even though they don't have to be. So I'll draw a conclusion that they truly haven't gotten over SCV. If they did, they would of cut ties with this site with no problem.


What can I say? Us 8wayrunners are quite likable. Not to mention good-lookin'. xD

Is it werid for me to say that I always get this strange impression that some people overexaggerate on "how bad" SC5 really is?

As far as the digital download goes, this is actually perfect and I'm excited about it. I've been getting some of my friends interested in the series recently and they love it so far. Thing is, I was the only one who had a hard copy and they could only play when I bought it over. This is a really great convient way of them getting it and playing around a bit.

 

Looks like it(the downloadable version) did some good to me, bumped into a bunch of fresh faces last night.

 

Sup folks, I was reading this and was like this guy is talking out of his butt right now, and I was going to let it go until I read that we had SCV at WNF. We never had SCV at WNF. Also someone wanting to drop a character is no indication that a game is unbalanced it just means that they dont want to use a character. (Fanboyism is not an argument for the validity of a games balance) I am now sure that folks dont know the concept of a balanced game cause they got one and then still complained that it is unbalanced. Of course it is! No game is 100% balanced cause if it was there would be no character variety, but there is and it is still very balanced, so according to the history of games we can state that SCV is balanced in comparison to the history of host games but... come on man what are people expecting. Also Vincent... start showing up to local events.
