Yoshimitsu Web Theater.

I realize I was sort of offtopic, my post was directed more towards Belial and Mitsurugi, but I guess we can agree to disagree. I think the main issue vs. Ivy is character ignorance.

Belial: I will respond in PM.

People really need to play against Malek and Scud.

Nice stuff about the progressive defence Belial, thanks. Yoshi has 4B+K (REF Stance) to escape last hit of CL A+B too (like Mitsu RLC). I'll try that in practice. :)

No no guys, dont take it to PM!! i want to read this stuff!

NoFace: are you serious? Me? Ignorant? About Ivy?

Belial is even ignorant about him beeing ignorant, its unbelievable :P

Edit: Oh Furzy i found my ipod :) Dont search for it....

Malek, I like the way you see Ivy.
22K is landed tons of times upon good players, the sames with Yoshi's 214A, and your'e right, is hard for Yoshi to properly punish that, tough sometimes I manage to get 33_77K for 54 dmg, but it's really hard to do consistently, so 6B is good for Yoshi to keep pressure.

And I've played with you both Ivy players, tough with Noface I've only played online, great players and different styles, I'm looking forward to play with you again Malek at GAMME, hope you make it there.

Unfortunately, I never got to play Malek. Even when he was here in NorCal. Can't blame him for wanting to enjoy SF and the surrounding area, though.

Well, you'd want to stick to GIing 6B+K only at max range anyways. The point is to get into range for 9A+Bg, 9B+K, or 33B B+K.

Yoshi can get away from the last hit of CL A+B with REF. In fact, you can see Furzy get it off once in the vids and then Malek punishes him for doing it the next time.

Yes, I will.

Belial: I take that back. I'm a scrub. You can get away after getting hit while grounded against Amy's 33B / 2B+K with a normal / back tech. I failed to test thoroughly. My apologies. =/ That gives me some hope.

Malek: I intend to make it out to GAMME as well. I'd definitely like at least a FT5, if not a FT10. It'll give me a chance to play against someone's Ivy besides NoFace's ( who I haven't played offline since January 09) and Sora's.

Belial: Nice vid. Appreciate it. I actually dug into training mode last week and found some other anti-Amy stuff specific for Yoshi. I'll post when I get back from Japan.

Belial, your Nick shouldn't say "[45] Platinum Colonel", it should say, "Amy raper".

I don't have many anti Amy stuff, but I like pissing off amy players... 3B_3BA in close range, is completely nullified by Yoshi's A+K, lol, punishing with A+K 3B is priceless.
Jumping over 66A+B, 3BA, 4A+B, 6BB236*.... Using amy as a piñata after 66BA is fun too...

Oh, and of course, th UB's setups that only work 100% against Amy, like 214A, 1(B)lv3, and 8A+B setups as well.
So with Yoshi, learn to step at least 50% as good as Belial and use Yoshi's punishment and power.

I played pretty bad against Setsuka, but that bitch is too anoying to stay concentrated for a whole FT5 :p

Im at work or id watch those right now! Cant wait, Your yoshi's is one of my fav's to watch furzy I think Ive seen almost all your matches ;) Wish I had someone to record with around here :(

Furzy: You've improved a great deal! I'm liking that missed throw into iMCF. Good use of FC 1KKK and nice abuse of 3B against Sieg, also. Seems like Sacharja couldn't a:G:a in response. Sacharja seems like a patient player. Overall, your Yoshi has become a force. I got a couple comments.

- Were you not doing T4 because Sacharja could step it?
- Why no T2 or T6 use? I know it really comes down to personal preference / situation, but I saw a couple situations where it would've come in handy. >_<
- Also, at the end of the match when you a:B+Ked him into the wall, you could have done DNK into a RO. It was the perfect angle! =)

Gotta watch the Ring match still.

@RedDjinn: Thanks a lot! Always nice to hear that ^^

@HajimeOwari:

– FC1KKK is sick on CH if you get the JF every time! Good range, pretty fast (i17 I think) and catches steppers :)

– Sacharja was very good at that tournament, It was very difficult against him even though I usually don't have any trouble against Siegfried players.
I like T4 less and less, almost all my opponents learned to step it… Also i'm sure you noticed this, if you're not correctly positionned, the move will whiff and yoshi will end back turned :-/ Still good sometimes on wake-up though :)

– When you say T6, do you mean the Heihachi backdash or the Lee TC Super-Launcher? I think both are pretty good, but I absolutely love Lee's Kick because of the infinite combo. Sometimes you can just come back from hell, Hilde style B)
By the way, you do know that if you have less life than your opponent it also works at 29,19,9? Same thing with the Mishima uppercut, if yoshi has less life than his opponent, it will also work at 22, 21, 12, 11, 2, 1 :)

– T2 is veeeery risky in my opinion, really not worth it. Sure it will evade about everything, but if you're opponent didn't hit, you'll end up with half your life bar gone, or worse (RO). Sometimes in strings it can be good.

– Yeah I saw that afterwards haha so many missed opportunities. Also a lot of unpunished Siegfried 3B's… Hard to concentrate on everything in a tournament :)

Thanks for your comments! Did you go to the FSAK tournament? Any videos?

Some of my opponents can step it, but there are still situations where you set it up so the opponent has little or no time to react. Kind of like DGF mix-ups after a CH 33B B+K. People seem to have problems responding quickly to that.

I just make it a point to be properly positioned. That means making sure the opponent isn't rolling around, etc. =)

Lee Kick is always guaranteed at 19, 9. My testing has shown 29 to only result in the crappy taunt (never took life into consideration though). I know there's a chance to get Kazuya's UB at 22, 12, 02. I was under the impression that the getting the Lee Kick (ST9), Kazuya UB (ST3), and Paul attack (ST8) on "off" numbers was random. Are you certain? I'll go ahead and test anyways. =)

Oh, I agree. There were two moments when it was clear DocVizzo was going to keep attacking, though. T2 would've been perfect then. =) Just my thoughts. I try not to use it against people who know how to severely

You got the majority of the 3Bs. Early in the match you didn't catch them, but you punished later on. I'm sure I'm guilty of missing punishments as well.

There are FSAK vids! Jaxel is uploading 10 daily. Mine will come towards the middle and the end. =) Feel free to be critical in your comments if you see them. And, if you see, no, I didn't punish Prep A at all. =/ Wasn't thinking!

Oh man thats some REAL geek talk there :) Dont make him use even more tekken moves, i keep staring at the clock all the time, even if i play Kilik, Mitsu etc :) Everytime i see 24 im in a supershort panicmode :)

Hajime i think i saw some matches of you in the stream and if i remember right i was really wondering why you dont use 1KKK, that move is so so so good, almost better then FC 3K imo....60ish DMG on counter Hit + you can bait unsafe punishers. Im waiting for the matches! Maybe im wrong but that was what i was thinking back then...

Wops, my bad, I meant 26,16, 6 for the Lee Kick. And yes I'm positive that the Mishima uppercut timing lasts longer if yoshi has less life too. :)

Agreed with docvizzo about FC 1KKK, I think it has a little more range than FC 3K too.
