Please be Cervantes. If the ship is what I think it is, he might as well be confirmed. He's pretty much the only other character Taki has a connection to and it seems like the reveals have a certain theme to them (Mitsu/Sophie being iconic characters since SE/SB, Nightmare/Groh/Xianghua/Kilik being the characters central to the story, Ivy/Zas having an association with magic.) Not likely, sadly.

Taki also technically has ties to Li Long, though it's very unlikely he makes an appearance, it could be an amusing curveball. But Cervantes also having ties to Siegfried, Sophitia, and Ivy certainly helps his chances.
 
I'm trying to find what you guys are talking about when you say her butt is bigger but I don't really see it. I wish she had a bigger butt tho.

She's not a samurai tho. Samurai and ninja were enemies back in 'Nam. Menpo look cool when they're joined by other headgear rather than being alone. I can understand the oxygen argument, but a ninja wouldn't need to talk.
 
It's there for the armor break (or rather base layer), but I prefer the cloth mask. Bulky doesn't work with Taki.

Makes me kind of curious if 1P clothes will be part of CaS looking at how they seem to function.
 
So glad to see her back. Just need my boy Maxi and Tira (among others) and we good. I want to preorder but holding out if they do a deal or package.

Man they didn't even talk about character customization yet oh lawd.

Edit: Who would be the most hype character returning? I would say Talim. Only because some people are like a staple return (Taki, Nightmare, Kilik).

My point was that the menpo masks are historical and not high fantasy. It's with you saying the mask is stupid when it's design is actually rooted in real history.

Maxi, Talim, and Tira will be there. You don't have to worry about that.

She's for the casuals more than anyone. She's a good will inclusion with the casual fans.

She brings diversity to the cast, in more ways than one. Tonfas stand out as a unique weapon type, paired with her acrobatics which are similar to Maxi's stances but still different enough to have unique appeal thanks to her aerials and wind-like nature. Her pure and innocent soul is only really rivaled by Rock, as all she wants is balance for the world, with no personal self-serving goals. She's pacifist, but not annoyingly so like Pyrrha was. She just really is a unique character who no others really can replace. There's also much potential with this game's more flashy effects that we can really see the wind at her back instead of it just being something she talks about.

Both your preferences have cloth covering her mouth. I wouldn't want her lovely battle screeches being muffled (especially her 66B).

I don't like the metal bar under her boobs with the totally-not-obvious purpose of pushing her boobs up, but I do understand that her outfit would be pretty bland without something on her abdomen.

Also, note that every incarnation of her 1p has some sort of girdle/armor as well.

Also consider that Talim has BLADED tonfas which don't really have any historic analogs.

I'd argue she's equally as annoying.

There's also much potential with this game's more flashy effects that we can really see the wind at her back instead of it just being something she talks about.

I'm picturing her now summoning mini-tornadoes that would increase her RO game. Would be scary if she could summon violent gusts of wind that actually pull enemies towards her (ala a bit Viola CE).
 
Also, could anyone translate this please (above her name).
Does it give any insight into Taki's motives and role?
The kanji on her suit looks too small to read, so when we get the ~5000p image we can translate that (still awaiting siegfried's)

Well, she had a pretty decently sized playerbase around SC2. In SC3 and 4 though, not so much.

Well, at least she's made her presence known. I will admit though, I thought she would've been among the more earlier characters to be revealed instead of later but hey, Taki's here now.
