Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

As Guest i'd love Kratos with Leviathan but we'll see.

Confirmed for 2018 + RELEASE DATE AT E3 HYPE.

I recently started thinking it will end early 2019 tbh lol
 
The music title is back.

“The Lionhearted” is making me think the snow stage could in fact be the Japan stage since Mitsurugi’s sword is named the “Lion King” apparently.

And the returning stages have their theme names slightly changed.

Actually, I'm thinking that the snow stage might be Grøh's stage for two reasons:

- Grøh's birthplace is listed as "Norway, Kingdom of Denmark", and Nordic countries are usually depicted as being cold during the winter.

-As stated earlier, the name of this stage's song is "The Lionhearted". However, there was a king of England who was nicknamed "Richard the Lionheart", and while Grøh himself isn't from England, his character seems to have a lot of connections to English legends, like the name of his weapon (Aerondight Replica, which is named after Sir Lancelot's sword) as well as some of his voice lines (His CE line "Chevalier mal fet!" is a reference to T.H. White's book "The Ill-Made Knight", which is about Sir Lancelot).

Maybe these theories are a stretch, but I definitely think this stage is Grøh's.
 
Geralt's triangle is troubling me greatly.... same with this London skyscraper that's just completed it's triangle - transforming the London skyline in the process:

My thoughts are with Okubo and what kind of pressure he must be under from his bosses.

Ooh boy :/ I HATE the new HUD. The silver looked so much better, the health bars looked nicer (not a fan of the larger size or the all blue), and I preferred when the numbers on the special meters weren't flaming.

What the heck is this stupid huge blue effect that pulses out of the weapon when you hit an enemy? What's the point of that? Is it related to a mechanic? It's so irritatingly distracting and uneccessary.

That said, I DO love the new font changes for K.O, Ring Out, Battle One, etc. That's pretty nice.

It's awesome they have all the revealed characters though and the brand new stages look awesome and definitely feel more like Soulcalibur than a lot of the SCV and SCIV stages.

Great to hear about the release date too. Looking forward to the other reveals :)
