Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

My boy has such a low chance of appearing that no one shit talks him, for he has Long gone from people's minds and hearts.

It hurts. :(

All the more strange that he and Hwang were dropped from SCIV and SCV as they had just been developed for the SCIIIAE edition that few people got to really play competitively or find out their newest playing styles. If Hwang comes back it will be interesting to see whether he is based on his AE form or earlier.

Guys I bought SC2 on ps3 because it was on sale and holy shit this game is 100000 times better than the ones I played lol Everyone here was already saying that but I didnt expect it to be this good ... Now I am even more hyped for SC6

For me there is absolute no debate about it, SC2 is easily the best SC ever made. So far at least, i hope SC6 can manage to equal it and do even better, i really hope so but we'll see.

Exactly. No one was really clambering for him to come back when he missed the cut in SCV, assuming they even remembered him.

i thought the story subtext was that the Astaroth in V was made of Rock's body parts.... mostly his dong but maybe some other stuff.... like his brains yea his brains ! :D

But seriously that was a thing not just his dong!

I'm having an epiphany now... :O

What if the Rock everyone had been encountering before scV was... A ghost?

... A ghost of a man who was captured, mutilated and eventually killed by Ares' cult to make Astaroth. After all the agony and torture that was used to fuel Astaroth's undying rage, all that remained were pure, good emotions and the desire to return to his own son - who occupied his final vestiges of hope - Bangoo. Of course, we will never see them reunited, for Rock never really left Kumpaetku shrine.

... As far as I am concerned, I've solved Rock. :D

But... this is Raphael's backstory in SCV :D replace the sacrifice with "consumed by Soul Edge" and "Bangoo" with "Amy" and you get it ^^

I must have missed the part of Raphael's backstory where his parents were murdered by an evil pirate. Or the part in Rock's backstory where baby Bangoo saves him from Cervantes.

There are similarities but their stories are basically the same if you sum it up.

Likewise I think Cassie and Mi-Na are similar in personality. But that’s just my opinion.

Somehow the alt story and the CaS may be revealed at the same time I’m thinking.
