4. With Seong Mi-na confirmed, Hwang seems just as likely to be confirmed.
Ryūzaburō Ōtomo returned, Mi-Na had a change in the dubbing, now it's Chinatsu Akasaki, formerly Sanae Kobayashi.
Their profile has been updated on the website, under the artwork has the voice actor.Where did you find that? It sounded like Chun-Li's JP VA to me.
Mi-na sounds good, but for Astaroth, I prefer his ENG VA.
story mode is illustrated by Hiroaki Hashimoto and artworks is Takuji Kawano.Anyone knows what the current artist is called?
I took a look at the popularity poll once again and I saw Mina was at 15th place. Astaroth was at 25th but tbh he was pretty much guaranteed to show up. I'm also 100% sure that Tira and Cervantes will be making it as well. That leaves Cassandra at 12th, Amy at 13th place and Yun at 14th place.
I believe they will all make it but hopefully they increase the roster size on the character select screen or else there will be some huge cuts.
Raphael and Setsuka were at 19th and 20th place which makes it very tricky for them as well as Hilde who was at 24th. Lizardman was very low at 30th place which makes me believe that he could be turned into a generic cas story mode fight but then again his fighting style for SC5 was perfect so hopefully they will have him be the same. Rock was also low at 31th place so I personally don't see him return unless again they increase the size dramatically. I forgot to add that I do not know if it's even possible to include Amy without Raphael since she is way more popular but then again there's also Viola so I have a feeling the dlc will work things out for them.
I know many will say that the popularity poll is not all they are going to focus on or that the story does not support their inclusion but I think we shouldn't focus on who can make it just by looking at the timelines plus there will be lots of dlc. Especially if we all support the game.
Raphael is in a very interesting position.
His debut was pretty strong but we have to remember that was well over ten years ago.
Most people that I speak to in person haven’t played SC 1,2 or 3 let alone know what soul blade is.
Amy blew up when Star Wars were guess characters (arguably when the game got the most exposure)
A lot of new players have no idea about Raphael’s potential or how he was curbbed and changed over the years.
It’s the same with Setsuka SC3 was pretty much isolated in terms of platform but there’s such a demand for her even by casuals (and she wasn’t even in 5)
I don’t mind Amy but she needs to stay second to Raphael, his SC2 version needs to make an appearance to show the player base why he’s a show runner for the rapier.
I discovered the Soul series with the 3 my brother had it. I 1st played it there and Cervantes was my favorite my 1st main, I liked Raph too but cervantes, as just so much cooler to me. Then I bought it and the 2nd one and was kinda disappointed with Sc2 compared to the 3rd. I played Raph in that one for a while but didn't find it fun, a'd I picked back my man Cervantes for instant fun xD.
I always liked Raph's desing and weapon but never his style.
And then SC4 came and I kept playing Cervantes till I unlocked Amy and then I tested her.... And felt il love with her gameplay instantly it was exactly what I wanted, I played the game soo long (even Broken destiny) just because of her lol. SC5 cooled me a lot but but cervantes was there Viola had some of Amy's moves and was fun, but even with Amy gone Raph was still boring, cool looking as hell but boring xD
(and she wasn’t even in 5)

No. Before the Seong Mi-na reveal, there were likely far more people who were expecting Yun-seong being the only Korean to make a return, perhaps, due to the style needing to make a comeback. With the Seong Mi-na reveal, though, there are now more Hwang supporters because it kinda makes more sense that way. It could go either way, really, as it's up to Project Soul at the end of the day, but I don't get why they would tease Cervantes, Lizardman, and now Hwang (in Seong Mi-na's bio at Soul Archive JP), if they weren't going to include them. That just seems mean.Am I the only one who think we will have Yun-Seong back and that Hwang will be a CaS in Mi-Na story mode ?
Yes and no, Setsuka is popular, but not insanely popular, Alpha Pat was definitely a very rushed addition, it was used probably as a cope out for the lack of characters in V.Snip
Did you capitalize "Seiyū" because it's a Japanese word, and therefore better than others...? X)
Amy is really slippery and fast compared to Raphael that have a lot of useless pause in his movements that completely break the general flow of the character you can call it strategic I call it a mistake, there is a reason he isn't even competitive with his moves being just okay at best (he even have some really useless moves like his slow stab in all 4 directions, what's the point of that move he could have something far better than that)Maybe it was down to what you wanted as a player?
Amy has always been outrageously flashy while Raphael was always strategically flashy.
I would personally say there is a lot of thinking with Raphael when compared to amy, being able to grasp his agility as well as his offensive manuvers is tricky.
But when done, oh man <3.
I like Amy, but I feel she doesn’t have depth like Raphael... viola is better
I still want to know why Tira attacked him and what came of that... Namco has always Curbbed this guy.
*sigh*
Is Seiyū an offensive term? I don't want to be seen as the Wicked Witch of the West again. I'm not an evil person. D:
Just wait a little more... I didn't talked about it because I don't like claiming stuff without crossing it with some other informations.By the way...weeks ago Hayate said that he went crazy since some source leaked him lots of characters. What happened with that?
