Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Besides that Oswald/Azwel, which I wasn't sure of his name.
The design of Raphael and Cervantes are coherend with this.
The list seems ok, even if some Alphabetical Orders don't match (weird).

@Hayate -- If Lizardman was where you have Seong Mi-na, then that whole section would be "Soul Edge Group". That's why I can't see her there. I still think she and Hwang are not on this list, and will be added like Tira is going to be added also. Sophitia is also kind of all by herself, unless you pair her with Siegfried.

That's 20 (+ secret one/unlockable - Inferno) at least for story mode... so nothing changed since the beginning roster. We should have expected that.

Again, I bet the extra 4 characters are included in Season Pass (Tira is there already and has her own story mode)... one of the three remaining is guest character. So only chance for 2 returning characters... Hwang and Cassandra?

Final roster count: 25 characters (including Inferno and including Season Pass). Lame move Bamco if that becomes true.
Season Pass is a excuse to sell the game in fascicles.

PS. Since I got glasses on I became more distrustful. Just trying to be overly pessimitstic about what could be worst case. I really doubt it could end up like this. We'l have to wait until further confirmation.

Guys I'm so happy, I was waiting for Cervantes since hella December! And he looks DOPE
Raphael looks cool too, the glasses are not a problem if the characters are 100% CaSable

I don't care at all if this is the final roster or not, I'm happy with what we have
Can't wait to play this wonderful game

we have absolutely no reason to believe there will be another guest, idky people keep thinking this. Okubo only said it could be possible

Or maybe there is no real pattern to where characters are in the character select? It's not really important.
 
If this represents the final roster and the 4 circles are DLC characters, then I'm baffled they settled on this layout. When they added several slots earlier this year, they should have made those invisible by default and only made them appear once you own the DLC. I think a lot of people will be disappointed to know roster is smaller than the select screen suggests. It makes some PR statements seem a bit weird as they've said multiple times the select screen does not represent the roster size.

But we'll see. Maybe there is more to the base roster. Maybe Lizardman and Hwang were late additions to the game. It seems crazy to me they'd accept a base roster of only 20 characters. The roster was the big thing everyone complained about with SC5, and now it looks like this might be smaller than that.

You guys do that the PC/Steam version exists and probably expected it to be exploitable the same way like DBFZ did, and all of it was 100% on the DLC roster being true, so I'm expecting the same for SCVI. (Unless otherwise noted.)
 
I was ready for the worst when it came to the roster but I would be remiss in saying that I'm not dissapointed
