Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Just to clarify, those moves listed are while in soul charge, right?
Sorry for the dumb question and thank you for the pictures!

Let me drift abit off-topic but keeping SoulCalibur in mind.
I noticed in the streetmodders page in Deviantart that Tekken 7 mods are blooming finally!
My question is what could've changed for mods to go smoothly? Because if things are looking up for Tekken so they will for SC.

Yep. Told mine that she shouldn't expect much life out of me on the 19th-21st weekend. That's going to be "soul calibur weekend" and it might be good for her to plan her meet ups with friends that weekend haha! She was OK about it so I've got my free pass to fester in front of the TV with Sc6 at high volume.

Lol I've specifically been avoiding using our big tv in the living room for the past 3 months. Every time she offers it to me I'm like, "Nah, you go ahead...I'm banking time for when Soul Calibur comes out."

Wouldn't surprise me if there is a completely new set of reviewers for this game than the previous. Over six and a half years passed, that's a long ass time.

Also, fighting games nowadays are full of barebones content or are always lacking in some way...they rarely get praise unless it's Nintendo Smash.

That's true for more or less most games... From jeuxvideo.com, for example, most game are considered "hollow", "without substance", and "repetitive", yet they manage to praise and give good rates to FIFA and other games like Call of Duty... That's why I haven't trusted any review and base myself either on games I really want (like SCVI) or on videos I see :)

It still blows my mind each year and still not get used to it.

(Instead let's bash SFV that gives you free udaptes without forcing players to buy another disk each year)

EDIT: Also Fifa19 got 36/40, just saying

shooters and soccer games make a lot more money and it seems easier to make lots of content for those games

Though they barely change anything yet are praised as groundbreaking, a revolution in the genre. It's easy money for something that barely change: it's a new game every year and they are really similar to games that released years ago. But when a brand new game comes up (after years if it's a sequel), it's considered meh, "could be better", "lacking things" etc.

Also, some games are reviewed by testers who hate either the franchise or the genre. JV.com really lack neutrality and logic in their tests.
