I’m kind of in the camp of no more SC6 guests as well. If anything, I think Season 3 (if this becomes a thing) should be a legacy pass for some the older characters that the series has brought to the table. Hell, some of them can basically just be reintroduced as brand new characters at this point given their long absence from the games.

M.O. : We want that, but it’s something that done by the end of development, so I don’t want to commit to an answer.

They didn't say we can't, they just apparently haven't gotten there in his development so they can't say at the moment

I can imagine how hard it was for Okubo to handle the Setsuka and Hwang parts haha

No more guest characters (for season 2 at least) was to be expect, nothing really surprising here tbh.

The new character part is interesting, maybe they plan on a brand new character, which would be very unexpected tbh, personally i'm a fin of the idea but i think they should start by bringing back the veterans fan favorites tho. Or maybe it's gonna be for something like Hwang, i said it before but if Hwang is coming back he may have a lot of new stuffs that make him almost feel like a new character.

Great to know that the next character(s?) will have their Story, it's really one of the thing where SC6 does better than the others Fighting games post launch DLC characters . And new Stages are coming too (and for Free)
