    You can push an opponent into a wall to reduce the pushback, so you don't lose ground if you're already on offense. It's just not something you want to do midscreen as a combo extender, which is a fair compromise because damage is pretty high already.

    You shave off what makes it great in defense by removing the hitbox. Its faster than any poke; has great knockback on hit and block; and seems to only be risky on whiff.

    TSLPrescott on r/Soulcalibur just discovered something pretty crazy. When you Soul Charge, it stops the timer for the duration of the SC.

    I think they're playing it slow until after DBFZ drops. After that, we'll get a better cadence of stuff because it'll be Bamco's major FG to promote along with Code Vein and whatnot.

    Pretty much this. I think the opposite would be better where you can't use RE in the red since meter carries over. Right now being in red guard doesn't really generate that much tension, but losing access to RE's universal block and meter gain to some extent would drive more incentive to stay...

    Yeah, normal GIs have a little slowdown and camera stuff. It didn't bother me too much, but Ultratien definitely did not like it. Moveset size is probably to be V-esque since A+K does not appear to be an option for them, but it didn't feel simplified beyond that.

    I dunno man I'm pretty trash in this footage, haha. I was nervous for some reason. Wish I got some of my Fourwude sets because I shed my mortal self and just became calibur. But after watching it, I remembered how much dumb fun I was having. I need this game back in my life.
