    I disagree strongly. 1) All styles need defaults to be usable in tournaments, at which point, you've essentially assigned the style to a character anyway, going against the whole point of a generic CaS style. 2) Generic styles lacking in personality may allow you a greater variety of characters...

    Depends what your definition of "character" is. I've made several fighting game characters on MUGEN, and with my current knowledge of Unity: Importing sprites would be easy, but aligning them all again would take ages... Writing a new animation system for the new engine would be pretty tough...
