SCV A+Ka2A etc. is exactly the same as IV. These moves were pretty fundamental to Sieg, or so the Dev's thought apparently. His A+K is one of the only ones that have, for the most part, remained untouched. Select other characters still have A+K moves, but I can't remember who was listed off the top of my head. Sorry! ^^
When we sat down at NEC with Daishi-san and his translator Yoshi-san, a lot of people were taken back when that subject came up. He did a good job of explaining why he thought it was necessary... sort of a SF4 simplicity reboot. He said it is quite literally a reboot, in that as with the previous games, following sequels will get progressively more technical again. They just thought the Fighting Game Community kind of needed this, and I tend to agree with him. Hey if losing a couple of inputs increases the scene's size like it did for SF4, I'll deal with it for a game or two. I'm willing to think long-term along with Daishi-san.
When I first heard this game was coming out, I have to admit I was only mildly interested. Now, I haven't been this hyped for a game to drop on console since SCII (only I can't practice at the arcade like I could for II, lol). This game is fucking amazing guys. Get hype for it! /endrant
