@UKStormDragon What games have you worked on? I would love to see. Thanks a lot for the very informative post.
No problem. Happy to answer any questions you might have as long it doesn't derail the thread.
I'm haven't been in industry for very long only a couple of years (graduated recently), so there isn't really much for me to put out there officially. The current project I'm working on for the past yearish (that is showing progress) is under NDA sooo, unlike some people I'm not really up for spilling the details on it. There's a couple of side contract work I'm doing but I'm also not too sure what I can say about that either. I can say I've worked with studios like Ubisoft, and Lightning Rod, but those have been for short periods. Sorry, I can't really point you to some of the cool stuff that I've done mainly because I'm not really allowed to at the moment or footage has been revealed as of yet.
I guess I can post a screencap of some pre-alpha stuff for those of you that want to see what literally every game starts out as. This is from an earlier project that was a few months old. It's been scrapped and is getting reworked so there isn't really much here. But this should give you a good idea for those of you who are worried that what you are seeing is what is finalized, that textures and visual imagery tends to be something that gets cleaned up in the final months. Earlier stuff is to make sure that they can establish the direction and have an idea of where to go before investing a crap ton of time into finalizing it.

Most of my experience has been with smaller teams, although I have on occasion worked with some ubisoft guys, and a lot of my info is going to be echoed from some of my friends and colleagues that talk to and work/worked with at the bigger studios like Naughty Dog, Dice, Warner Bros, Compulsion, Ubisoft, Guerrilla, Riot and others.
