If they allow multiples of the same character, you may as well just have KDZ and SU play their Hilde, and have Thugish learn Hilde. The odds of any other team not guessing wrong once that many times in a row are astronomically low. Also the odds of all 5 Hilde's getting walled stages, very low.

Just saying, play the percentages. Anyone's odds of beating 5 Hilde's in a row is just barely above zero.

I answer you here so everyone can have the info.

Noone will be able to house for this event, cause noone live out there.
However, in the hotel room, more people than the specified number can enter.
In a room for 2, 3 people can enter. In a room for 5, 7 people can enter, etc...
So, if some people don't have a room, it will be easy to put them in a room with some other guy.
But if noone decide to take a room, then...

Airport close to Cannes: NICE

I just check right now, from Chicago to Nice (+Nice-Chicago) you can find some flight for approx. 800$ with Delta Airlines.

There is no longer a cash prize for the team cup tournament anymore? What changed? This might take some motivation away for going from certain people that have money issues but they are confident that they would win it! :p
 
I've been checking around, but I don't see any team Canada... Missing players I suppose ? Anyway, I've create a new post about it, might be able to gather some players in Montreal if needed. Not sure if there a lot of Toronto players that will be going there... And some of them perhaps prefer to be in the world team instead... Hopefully some Canadians will show up and form a team to show that Canada has an important place in Soul Calibur ^^
 
I'm not gonna lie. Finding out that the National Team Tournament is not bringing in any funds along with the other two that was thought to be guaranteed has made my decision waver a little in even bothering to go when i'm trying my best to get there.
 
Unless i'm misinterpreting Malek, all of the SCIV events(Except team 3v3s) will have cash prizes. You know, because he said main events will have cash rewards, and all of the important SCIV events are main events.
 
I see Soul Cal Solo and Soul Cal 5vs5 at 2400 Euros.

I see Soul Cal National (World Team Cup) nothing. I assume there in no cash reward as it has no guaranteed funds like everything else and it is what all the hype and drama was about.

Are you seeing this on the site or something? I haven't seen anything about the payouts in this thread.

This could mean multiple things. Best case scenario is that the amount of cash to be given out has yet to be determined.

On the left side of the page it denotes the Main Events, and Special Events. When u click on them it provides all the needed information including the payouts.

The one thing it does not do from what I can tell is inform us about how the cash for solo's are split. Team split is obvious so no need. Ex. Does the winnings get distributed between 3 people, 5 people, how much for each person etc.
