Yoshi check the combo Thread for all the combos you need... Usually the best combo for 8A+K is after you hit 1K

1K , 8A+K combos... and sets you up in SDGF SuperDragonFly to provide more mindgames...

8A+K will also hit people if they are in the air or jumping towards you with a move.... I have hit yoshi out of DRG with 8A+K and it carried him up for the whole combo...

way way way way too much 214A from that yoshi. if it gets blocked 5 times in a row why keep using it. substitute that 214A with iFC 3K. besides that...good matches.

Agreed , I sat down and watched the whole video from start to finish and WOW i'm super impressed... You covered it all and more RDDK thanks! Now i just wish you posted here as much as you do on caliburforums... Ha and those two infinites are funny... The one at the very end seems semi-easy to do.. i'll have to try it today...

This is a video tutorial for the french noobs Yoshi players that's why the comments are in french lol... But I think I had to put them in English because there're not so many Yoshi here...
I forgot some combo and deleted many others by error, but anyway I guess it's not necessary to remake the vid. Maybe if there is another patch, why not...

you throw out 3AB too much... it only looks like a godsend cuz your opponent isn't very good it seems or at least isn't very good at blocking. You are almost hitting iMCF but instead only hitting the shakeable stun FC mcf..which are day and night in usefullness....nice try at the A: series..lol. But overall not bad... hard to say much when the matches are online cuz there is always lag even in most 5 bars. but even online...only a 2a after imcf?!?!!? I cry inside.
 
I hit IMCF so sporadically I dont know If its coming out or 2a lol. There more of my yoshi vids on his page never mind the others I pretty much suck with everyone else lol after watching that I realize I do throw 3AB alot gotta work on that.
 
Unfortunately, 3B+K:B isn't safe and really only belongs in flashy wall combos. I agree with 3AB being used too much. It's spectacular on-line, though.

Work on your basics and move placement. Ex: after blocked safe moves, 3AB is DEFINITELY not your best option, stick with AA and BB. Condition your opponent for the more riskier set of moves he has. Use 6A a lot more to bait iMCF when you decide to do it. Personal favorite is to FC 3K after blocked iMCF, or just double up with iMCF lol. 6A is good in general by the way. Don't just stick to DGF SDGF for wakes. Use all of his stances on wake up to keep the opposition guessing. ;)

Use 6K2K for moves you know are punishable as it is his main punisher besides iMCF.

Other than that just keep practicing bro. :)
 
yea... if you HAVE to throw out a launch throw out just 3B instead.. little less damage for making sure if the first hit connects they are in the air..something you don't get from 3AB..he just wasn't shaking it was all. What dorya said..except i guess something ppl need to always have to keep into account is the person being played against. Cuz if you play against a good person..mix-ups become more important while some ppl never block lows or some other easily seen problem like that (course lag might be why he's not blocking lows but..yea..) So if you are 3-0 3-1 this person EVERY SINGLE ROUND..and are going 40-1 against them then maybe u need a new sparring partner. As I get better I start by getting ppl that beat me 10-4 or so and by a week or two later its reversed....that wouldn't happen if i just kept playing stupid ranked matches or ppl that are just nowhere near yoshi. And of course there is lag..which makes me sad...not often i get a great 5 bar.. and when i do it surprises me and messes with my timing after getting slightly used to the bad timing..lol. Still nothing like offline...your not gonna be jumping and 3B's online (yea...wierd huh... I was jumping 3B all day today offline just for the hell of it and it was workin...) Ohh yea..and now I'm gonna be hooked on trying to get tekken moves into my play cuz code made it look so useful.........so if u feel like it u should try that too..but basics first of course.
 
Vids from the NorCal tourney this weekend. You'll notice some misinputs during the matches (Random 1Ks, 2A+Bs, 3A+B, etc.) , since I was playing on a stick where the buttons are angled slightly different than the one I usually practice on. The match versus Cervy is a lesson in why a Yoshi should always block (or BT A_K) after hitting with WS A. NEVER BT B. =(

No critiques necessary other than what you pointed out about the WS B. You're solid bro ;) I hope we get to play soon dude. After all were both in cali so a 5 bar is as good as it gets hehe.

Edit: Really enjoyed your matches vs rushdown dude. Especially the 2nd. 4A+B and BB iMCF bait was sweet.
