Thanks. Btw, that was 4A+K drunken stance into BB iMCF. =) It's hard to see life bars, but 4A+B would have killed me if I did it.

No wonder! I was thinking about how you still had life remaining. Damn, the drunken fist happened so quick I couldn't tell. Good shit man! ;)

Next time some of you get together, I can record a few of your matches if you want. Just invite me and I'll record them. Yoshi matches are always exciting, and I'm sure others would enjoy watching the Namu's finest. :)

Here's my craptastic Yoshi. I played a lot worse here as it was my first time fighting Amy with my Yoshi. Gotta love the 4A JF series though. Too bad I missed a:B+K... :(

Vids from the NorCal tourney this weekend. You'll notice some misinputs during the matches (Random 1Ks, 2A+Bs, 3A+B, etc.) , since I was playing on a stick where the buttons are angled slightly different than the one I usually practice on. The match versus Cervy is a lesson in why a Yoshi should always block (or BT A_K) after hitting with WS A. NEVER BT B. =(

Feedback welcome.

Good matches man. If I can add a few things; After SDGF B -> 2[A+B] -> 66. Always. It has neutral frames but the dmg is 77 on NH and 85 on CH. You got yourself into trouble a little Vs. Brian using FC 3K. If he blocks it he gets a free WS A for big dmg. I have never been a fan of Yoshi's WS A. Some ppl love it but I never have and Im pretty sure you dont like it now either lol. Throw more. I didnt see one RD. I was loving the 22_88K into iMCF. Overall your iMCF usage was great. BB traps are needed. Try using 4B and DGF B in the same way. They rape the soul gauge. Overall you have a solid Yoshi. Cant wait for some mirrors.

P.S. Brian has a TON of Yoshi practice btw. (From me obviously :D) It gave him the edge I think. Loved iMCF -> 22_88B -> 3AB -> 44Bb -> A:B+K. Instead of A:B+K to finish combos use 33B->B+K. Better dmg and wakes. Hope this helps. :D

Thanks. I'm a big fan of WS A. I used to hate it early on, but I love it now. Mid, catches steppers, and isn't terrible on hit or block. BT A_K interrupts practically everything if WS A hits. I just intend to use it more cautiously versus Cervy, Voldo, etc. Same goes for FC 3K. SDGF B leads to tech traps, which is why you don't see me use the 2[A+B], FLE 66 combo. The damage difference between what I'm doing (usually 66A+B or 33A+B. Some misinputs occurred during those matches, I believe) and the 2[A+B] combo is pretty minor, but I understand your point.

One RD? Not sure what you mean. I have upped my throwing a bit since that tourney. BB traps? In what sense? BB on hit into another BB? If so, I agree! Too good! As for raping soul gauge, I don't really factor it into my game unless they're blinking on me. I'm just not a fan of the random 4B or DGF B. It could just be that NorCal players are aggressive, so working the gauge is the last thing I worry about. I know some other Yoshi players that love working the gauge, also, though.

33B B+K is ACable to the right, I believe. Seems like it's an issue with B+K timing, bad positioning the air, and the opponent ACing. Maybe character size as well? I'll probably research it when I get a chance. Anyways, I still use it, but if I'm near a wall I use a:B+K and hope to be close enough for DNK, 3B. I agree it's a good follow-up, but I'm losing my faith in it after casuals this past week after it got ACed 50% of the time. I still love the ending position 33B [B+K] leaves you in, though. =( I'm beginning to opt for a:B+K and then running in to maintain pressure if I'm not near a wall. Some people use 44B+K into stance cancels, but I just don't really care for it.

Most of my casuals on this game are with Brian (who is mostly playing Cervy so maybe my WS A experience is jaded).

RD = Rainbow Drop

What I meant by BB traps was using iMCF after blocked B's. I personally throw iMCF after a ton of crap. What I meant to say about 4B and DGF B was they too, are good bait for iMCF on block. The fact that they rape SG is an added bonus ;D

33_99B->B+K is not ACable. On anyone. What you were doing is hitting 33B too early. You have to wait for them to be right in front of you as they fall for it to work properly.

~Cheers~

Neo congrats on that win. Definately like the Yoshi. Just curious though why when you get the JF A:B+K or you following up with the roll poke?

Nice games. Great use of 33B B+K and 66K there. My only question is why so much 44bB on the ground (not in the combo)? Other than that, very nice. =)

thanx man...but i dont have the time...but will practice that...sorry but i dont know english...if 44bb hits the oponent,it will help to break the soul gauge...thats a very strong mind game to use...they always comes to you to attack and there comes punish...so thanx again...
