Rusted Blade

So how much you guys with "%" are believing into that supposed Season 2 datamine leak "Stone, Yell, Star, Snow, Reptile and Yellow."
I'm so divided about it, of course i want to believe on it, and why would they put this there other than to troll fans? Also how and why a season 2 stuff would be already there that soon.
Or could it be just simply related to the next DLC CaS? (i so really hope i'm wrong about this tho)
It's not truly a "leak", I can all but guaruntee you that, but nevertheless, I'd rate it, using your requested metric, at 95+% probability that these six characters are forthcoming. A serious tank in sales could still cause them to abandon their plans, andprobably the biggest reason they approached the reveal in this way is to give them room to abandon the second season without consumer recriminations if Namco pulls the plug. But thus far, the sales indicators are positive, and I think they have full wind in their sales to apply the same long-form serialized approach they are using with all of their fighters now.
And no, of course no major game company, let alone one as large, complicated, and adroit as Namco, a Forbes 2000 company, is going to "troll" it's consumer base by frustrating their expectations for shits and giggles. LMFAO--why (how!?) do people keep suggesting this as something a company not run by demented clowns would remotely consider doing, ever? Just suggesting this in a marketing meeting at company like Namco would probably get you shown the door and your last paycheck for sheer incompetence. No, they are definitely considering this and probably well into the planning stages, but they clearly do want an escape hatch if necessary, which is why they have marketed the idea in this fashion first: all of the benefits of obsessive fan viral marketing, none of the liability if they hit the ejector button.
People who dug up the leak seem confident its actual characters and not something else. Although i'm curious what qualifies as "characters". Some of them could be bonus pallet swaps.
Nah, they wouldn't appear as these types of values in the code if they were a mere pallet swap. And indeed, they don't even need to be there for any practical purpose at this point, specially given their actual names will replace those masked values eventually. Not only are these almost certainly full characters, Namco is going out of their way to make us aware of them while pretending it was another mistake (lol, as if they would make the same blundering error two patches in a row, a couple of weeks apart. It's such a clumsy ploy, it just tickles me to no end that they are getting completely away with it. I wonder if the Japanese fans have been any more canny; I should look into the Japanese forums more often.
