I doubt Algol can jump Cervy's WS A because that is a mid.

. Cervy grab game is pretty low damage outside of the FC grab, which is always a B break and I've yet to run into a player that can make the FC animation "invisible" outside of 1K setup.

Tell you what. Honestly, in tournament play, if you're Algol, you wouldn't risk doing that. Aren't you a south texas player? We're having a tournament 2/28 in San Antonio, feel free to show me how that's done, I'll even play you first round cause I'm THAT curious. Algol is allowed at our tourney, so there shouldn't be any issues.Don't doubt Algol! else Algol bans you.
Nah for real 1K WS A Algol can jump that WS A with 9G if you time it right. 9K if you're manly.
It's a mid I know, but because of the "X" shape the swords take on, he can jump right in between or over Cervantes altogether...its very funny.
It works With 2K also but not 2A.
The trick is to Hold [9G]
EDIT: it looks like 41236 works as well.

Dear lord, I LOVE theory fighter. You're telling me after you get hit w/1K, you're just gonna "jump" over me and not take 6K? I mean, seriously, do you realize what you're saying? If I were to go, it will be Asta attempting that jump. Because believe it or not Asta jumps completely over Cervy.
Have you tested this? Or are you just pulling out frame data from somewhere? I've never had Asta EVER beat Cervy's 1K on hit, so I am having a hard time believing 6A would...Actually, Asty can stuff Cervy's 6K after 1K on hit with 6A (i12).

Fair enough. I think the overall matchup against Asta is 5:5 but he certainly has WAY fewer bad matchups than most of the cast. His tools are just too good to ignore in the right hands. Same for Voldo/Hilde who are MAYBE the only 2 better than him. Hilde probably is, but I don't think Voldo or anybody else.Yeah, I tested it (It occured to me after having something similar happen with Kilik, lol). Trust me, I wouldn't pull something like that out of my ass without testing to make sure it works, first.

Have ANYBODY w/a pulse who you play w/do 1K, to 6k and let me know how many times you get away from it. It's called a frame "trap" for a reason. Asta is NOT one of the few chars who can interupt Cervy after a 1K hit. Now if you block it, you get a crouch grab attempt, so even then, why jump? Also, Asta isn't jumping over Cervy's WS A mid either. I don't think any of the things you're saying are accurate dude, sorry
A little confused as to why Hilde is so high on some of you guys' tier lists. The official strategy guide says she's not good because she's too linear and vulnerable to sidestepping (well, these strategy guides can get stuff wrong, but still). And also, to me, she seems too weak.

Haha if I was that person using Mitsu I'd have been pissed off. Yeah her ring out ability looks pretty brutal but if I was the Mitsu player I would have just picked a stage with walls next time. She still seemed pretty weak damage-wise to me, except that throw and the combo she kept using to knock Mitsu out of the ring.
Thats what happens with you go with idiots to write your strategy guide. I was thinking about the differences between Eastern game developers and Western game developers... Eastern developers are very "secluded"; they stick to themselves and don't really talk to their consumers. The most you ever see is those occasional marketing polls; but they are from the marketting department, not the developers themselves... Western developers however, tend to be very community oriented; especially in America where we have become so community dependant in technology. Developers are constantly in touch with their audience, having their own websites and forums, and actually talking to the players...The stategy guide is a joke lol. It actually tells you that you can win with Zas, because people won't know about how his moves pull in and what not. Plus the combos they have for the characters are jokes.
